Crap. Half the end caps broke off, one of the "locks" used to keep the poles extended was missing, the awning leaked at all the seams in the rain at expo west. Don't waste your money.

I'd ditch that axle for a trailer axle with brakes. That rear end look heavy as all hell.

As a 100 series owner, I say get the 200. I love my 100, and would only sale it to buy a 200 series. The 200 will be way better for towing.

@Coyotegray I talked to Snomaster USA and they said they should start shipping from them to customers the beginning of October.

The easiest way is to mark the holes and use s soldering iron to melt through the cover. It also seals the edges of the holes.

You have to poke holes through the bag. Hopefully your's isn't as big of a POS as mine was.

I got the info from them and will be taking it apart this weekend.

Do not have any paperwork. I bought it used.

The heating element on my Eccotemp L5 won't stay lit. I hear it come one and run for 30 seconds or so, and then it shuts off and the water stops heating. Thermocoupling? I figured I'd ask here before I contact Eccotemp tomorrow. I'd guess someone else has had the same problem.

Last I heard, the shipment was supposed to come in at the end of last month. I am waiting on a warranty replacement. Hopefully they come in soon, because desert season is just around the corner.

They warrantied mine out, but I still had to pay $65 freight..... Should have just thrown it in the trash and saved the money.

oh ya, and when I first unzipped it, half the stitching on the cover tore off. I had to pay a local apolstry shop $45 to restitch the entire bag.

I had the original, and it got warranties out with a gen 3 (I think). It has Led lights on it. The LED lights work fine, one of the little push pin things that lock the arms in place when you extend them is missing, the plastic end caps keep breaking, the fabric leaked, you can visually see...

Mine is a crap. Leaked at all the seams, bunch of broken parts. Don't waste your money.

Has anyone turned an older aluminum tear drop into an off-road capable trailer? I found a old Scud-A-Bout for cheap I am looking at. I'm just not sure how it will hold up off-road. I know I will need to beef up the frame, but the body panels kind of worry me. It's a 60's model, so I'm not sure...
