F350 where do I jack from? / would this plan work?

F350 where do I jack from? / would this plan work? Hi all - first truck, so learning as I go. So I don’t want to spend a ton of $ on a high end jack… I picked up this 6,000 lb capacity jack - Powerbuilt 620471 Unijack - (Rig weights 11,300 lbs loaded) The jack has a height range of 11...

Can I use 2 MaxTrax to drive up 9” (90 degree) vertical curb?

Dont want to piss off the construction workers..... this is right by our home and the workers have all been super cool. Have never driven our new truck up a 9" curb.... just looking to learn. Lots of great ideas here. Much appreciated. :)

Can I use 2 MaxTrax to drive up 9” (90 degree) vertical curb?

Yup you are correct Trae :) but given how rough the dirt is there (and it is going onto a busy street, that is now one lane) i figured that throwing down MaxTrax would be faster to do, and faster to remove..... but perhaps I am just being chicken..... or maybe i am being a dumb chicken...

Can I use 2 MaxTrax to drive up 9” (90 degree) vertical curb?

Can I use 2 MaxTrax to drive up 9” (90 degree) vertical curb? So I need to move my F350 (4x4) with camper on it, (total weight about 11,000 lbs) out of a driveway that is under construction, and there is a 9” lip blocking my way out. (see pics) I own one pair Max Trax (so 2 MaxTrax) Pardon...

Very happy with Hallmark during the whole order and customizing phase.

it is my understanding that the rear camper mounts are done the best possible way, by Hallmark. They know the trucks (and their campers) super well, and i trust them. for what that is worth. They are super aware of changes to the F350 frame.... and how their fiberglass / carbon fiber / wood...

Very happy with Hallmark during the whole order and customizing phase.

Yes - after a bunch of research, i bit the bullet and bought a Ford OEM tailgate camera, new, from a Ford dealership in CA, (maybe about $250 shipped? I forget. Ouch) and also the proper wire (fiber optic, i am told) from Camera-Source.com I think it was. Usually they dont sell just the fiber...

Very happy with Hallmark during the whole order and customizing phase.

Drives beautifully. Rock solid. about 12 MPG cruising at 70 mph in varied terrain. ZERO porpoising. It drives like a big car. Piece of cake. Even my better 1/2 loves driving it. Tons of pickup.... tons of power. Keep in mind we bought a F350 SRW, with the max payload option, (custom ordered)...

    Pop-ups with inside showers?

Hallmark will do flatbeds now, and also custom floor plans for minimal upcharge. I did a ton of research, and all roads led to Hallmark. We opted for the "mini" shower stall, but when you put the 365 PortaPotty in it, the 365 fits perfectly, and so the mini shower does double duty as toilet...

Good 3rd party Truck Camper insurance?

Good 3rd party Truck Camper insurance? Hi all - I had initially had good insurance coverage on our new 2020 Hallmark fiberglass pop-up Truck Camper - then Progressive decided that unless we had our auto insurance with Progressive, they would not insure our Truck camper, as it is too valuable...

    MAXTRAX Lockable Mounting Pins

I am pretty sure that a Bolt padlock is too big to work on this. And A little cable lock does not offer much security Does anyone know of a more secure lock for these MaxTrax mounting pins? Bonus points for an Amazon.com USA link. Thanks

any cheap recovery boards have the same mount hole spacing (and nest with?) actual MaxTrax MK2?

P.s. these $61 (delivered) ones I know will NOT nest with MaxTrax, and the holes will not line up, but perhaps I could drill some holes myself? Maybe.... unsure. https://www.ebay.com/itm/X-BULL-3-GEN-Recovery-Tracks-Snow-Mud-Track-4WD-Tire-Ladder-Newest-Orange/223487675707

this 20 ton bottle jack? this air compressor?

Thanks much for all the great info. Super helpful. :-) So the RV manufacturer showed me a very specific way to open all the water fixtures in the RV, and set to 1/2 cold 1/2 warm so both lines will get blown out... also to close off special valves *before* the water heater, so it 100% shields...

this 20 ton bottle jack? this air compressor?

Update - someone pointed out that I’d need to jack up the truck/pop up truck camper combo from the axle, (?) so I’d need a * cradle * to do it safely. (?) Yes this kit is expensive, but it comes highly recommended by a number of people, as being very safe. I hope to be traveling and RVing for...
