Anybody seen these CONQUEROR Trailers ?

I've lusted after these for years! Just got to crawl and spend some time in them at overland expo. My reccomendation is spend a lot of time with one before you buy. They are good trailers, but the more time I spent looking at them, the more I realized everything I thought I'd love from pictures...

    Hiker Trailer 5x9 Off-Road Build

Jcdriller, I have a 5x10 delux with a flipped axle and 32's. It's a great size, and I'm also tossing Around the idea of a side slide out system. Currently my fridge is in the tow vehicle, and the galley still affords itself plenty of storage options for the rest of camping gear. The side cut...

Jeep Base Vehicle Selection for First NEWB Overland Build

I have a wj. Bought it two years ago bone stock, two owners, v8 4.7 loaded limited, 114k miles, 3,400 California vehicle rust free. I've since done lone arm 4.5" lift, front and rear bumpers, sliders, tires, wheels. Roof rack, lights, winch, ect and am right at 10k all in. It's surpassed all my...

    Wheel Spacers

I'm running wheel spacer adapters to switch from standard trailer bolt pattern to jk 5x5. No problems so far. Gave me the width needed for my off-road tires, and have been preforming flawless so far.

The building of a biwak box upon an offroad trailer

Great build thread! Love the execution and use of space! Did you consider having the back door fold down and use that as your steps instead of the ladder?

Lead Dog Motorsports /Hiker Trailer is here for Support.

Switawi, the rear door is 40.5", from floor to "middle shelf" is 17", from the back door lip to shelf is 16". From access doors are 24.5" wide. My trailer also doesn't have the slide out tray under the shelf, so take a few more inches off if you go with that option.

Hiker / Lead Dog Trailer Owners Post Up

Floating, the cabinets and rear are the same on all delux, mediums, and off-road. If you search hiker trailer and leaddog motorsports on Facebook you'll see a bunch of pictures of the galleys and cabinets. The 5x8 and 5x9's have a gap between the outside of the door housing and the outside of...

Hiker / Lead Dog Trailer Owners Post Up

My wj doesn't even know the trailer is behind me until I get to a steep steep grade, then I will slow down to 55 just to take it easy on the engine since she's 18 years old. My fuel Milage is the same with and without the trailer though.

Cochise02 I replied to your question in the other thread for the basic sleeping dimensions. The whole floor is open under the two shelves, so the full 5x8 can be used for sleeping. Shelving is 18" deep. And the bottom shelf sits atleast 20" off the floor.

Love Being In The Dog House (trailer)

Cochise02, standard off-road trailer is 5x8. The kitchen shelves are 18" deep, but standard layout is the bottom is open up to about 20" from the floor. So if needed. The bed or feet can hang under the shelf. Otherwise you have a full queen size bed length from the front to the kitchen shelving.

Okay, got some measurements. The door is 36" wide, and 28" from the corner seam.

Anyone with an ARB awning room 2500x2500, wheres the access door?

Unfortunately I totally forgot to pack a tape measure, but when I set up the room the door is perfectly centered, and it's about 1 1/2 or 2 feet in from each wall. 3 foot wide or so. Lmk if you need a more precise measurement and I'll unroll my room and take a tape measure to it for you

    Cassette toilets and trailer builds...

I have been using this style for three years now and it's been a perfect purchase. I like the larger storage base over the more compact size if nothing else because it's a nicer sitting height and the wife enjoys that...

Anyone with an ARB awning room 2500x2500, wheres the access door?

I have one on my trailer, the vehicle access door seams to be perfectly centered, but I should be setting up my room this weekend and can measure it for you if you'd like. Also, something I didn't know until I got the room was that the vehicle access door is just a door, and doesn't have a...

    JKUR or Tacoma

Have you considered the Nissan Frontier pro4x or the Toyota 4Runner? The 4 runner would get you closer to jeep in off-road capabilities, while having more room. And the frontier can be had cheaper and I believe has a much better seating position for long interstate travel. Seating position was...

Hiker / Lead Dog Trailer Owners Post Up

Fireman I haven't weighed mine loaded, but even dry it was at 900. So figure 180# for full water tank, 150-200# in gear and tongue box that I added. Maybe 50 or so for the awning, and I should still easily be under 1450# fully loaded on a heavy 5x10. I do plan to get it weighed though this next...
