So, I Monstalined my Gen. 3

What color was the truck before? I like that color, but Monstaliner has a green very close to my 80 series green and was thinking it would hide my mistakes....

Tubeless Setups: Do you Carry Extra sealant?

No, in almost 10 years of tubeless, I have only completely flatted once (burped) and the shot of CO2 sealed it back up. On rides farther from the trail head I do carry a tube. I figure if it rips a hole too big for sealant, I will need the tube, a simple burp is the CO2. I only add sealant when...

    Exploring New Hampshire's Fall Crawl

Great report and I always liked the Exploring NH group. I had the same experience with the locker thing, on the first Trans NH, Ryan had a beautiful built 4Runner but was open and had to winch up a cross axle hill, the locker and my stock Taco walked it.

    Earthcruiser GZL

The highlights were covered above: 1. Very well built and fit and finish seemed great. 2. The shower didn't make sense to me, I would rather have storage, but the toilet pulls out pan and a inside cook top was in that area too. 3. I didn't like how steep the stairs were or how tight the door...

    FLIPPACK CAMPERS

That is funny you said this, I was at Expo East too and looked hard at other choices for the Tacoma, for the money and what I do - the Flippac is still my favorite design, weight and use of space. I also looked over several inside builds, and again, found a couple ideas, but general design...

Flippac gas spring (strut) part number?

Can anyone read their Flippac rear glass gas spring part number. The tag is clear it's a Signature Series Gas Spring from www.mygassprings.com - but the part number was computer printed and faded/rubbed off. The web site appears to be a direct to manufacture company, so I am looking for a part...

    kayak vs. canoe

For us: Canoe=divorce Kayak=great day on water It didn't help we were in a canoe on a low and rocky Rappahannock River for an overnight trip, quotes like "watch out for the rock" followed by crunch and multiple reminders I can't see them from the back, and need more than "watch out" (her...

How many miles on your Toyota?

2002 DC Taco TRD 253,000 - I am second owner, bought when it came of lease with 39,000 miles. OME lift, ARB bumper and rear Budbuilt with skids. When Toyota replaced my frame, at 200,000, I went ahead and had them replace a bunch of rubber hoses, valve cover gaskets, etc. I change the oil at...
