Before you go, make sure to check fire restrictions. I do believe anything but propane is banned in some parts of Co. I just read a new fire has started in the Durango area.
I have the nabob set up and don't think ours has those but to tell the truth, our jeep usually is not clean, but has a slight layer of "paint protectant" on it.
I have been using 6 " lags and a cheap drill driver for years. Mostly in hard Texas soil and out west where the soil seems to be even harder and more rocky. I have never had an issue, but as stated above, use big washers and screw all the way down.
I would look at this as a sign you should look elsewhere. If a company is not there to answer questions and take your money, what are the chances they will be there when you have a service need? I personally would never give a big deposit like that then pray for weeks that I get something in...
From what I have seen and read, it looks like the vorsheer trailers are very nice and the company seems to be run correctly. The exact opposite of what moby was doing. I would also say if you are looking at this price point, check out off grid trailers as well.
I would really consider a frog. I have had ours for several years mow and would more consider going back to a regular cooler. They really are a game changer.
My brother lost his from hi Tuff Stuff RTT. He made new ones from the metal "h" things that hold political signs in your yard. If he can do it, anyone can. LOL
I don't have pics but can tell you, we sat the mounting rails on the side rails of the nabob then used some 1/4" flat steel under the rails along with longer bolts and worked like a champ. Drove all over the west last summer for a month like that.
