    Land Rover ideas for Jeeps

I agree, crawling under is a lame idea. But what about on the sides rather than really far under, like right under the floorboard before the frame. Maybe even a possiblity for a slide type system? just a though, probably not practical with dirt and debris there. It's one reason I really like...

    Help me decide

well this is an interesting video. I must say its somethign to consider. My truck certainly woudl go up that little hill with no problems at all. I'm thinking this is due to the air system the guy chose to option, and that a icon dynamics system would resolve this issue?? 2020 Ram Rebel...

    Help me decide

Those are nice. the other thing I need to remind myself of is that I'm likely not going to be doing significant off road anymore. And if I do it would be with the Jeep. That's not to say I couldnt' get a big truck with awesome capability. But, if the reality is mostly staying on open FS...

    Help me decide

this is true. however, i really dont' care for the looks or ergonomics of the 150 to be honest. I also have lost a lot of respect for Ford quality vehicles - having been a master tech for them years ago when the 6.0 came out and the types of discussions I had to have with some of the...

    Help me decide

2500 is nice, and although I do really like my work 2500, it seems to be getting into the larger, heavier frame class of my current F350 though. So at that it would be like not really making much of a change - although not that the 1500 is a whole lot smaller (I miss my old '90 Ranger) and in...

Exactly, and it's one reason why I'm looking at this. I didn't realize that the 1500 has a high towing capacity. But options always affect payloads. I'm hoping some knowledgeable folks chime in but this might be in the wrong category of the forum. The 'standard' bighorn with the basic engine...

    Help me decide

I suppose to clarify, my bad: 1) the earliest I would buy is spring. Likely, it would be after that. However, I do realize the concerns of 20/21 trucks. I think build concerns might extend past 2022 given current climates however - in the end, not really sure what would be a reasonable time...

    Help me decide

True. The bigger question though, is whether or not to even consider a new vehicle and parting with my current truck. Obviously that comes at a high financial cost for a blue collar worker. That being said - I would lean more toward the Ram. Seeing as how I have a TJ, and drive a 2017 Ram...

Someone intervene before I make a mistake ? Lots of pro's and con's on all accounts, See my sig for my current full size rig (which is the one in question).

    Land Rover ideas for Jeeps

storage boxes are a great idea but what about a better interior storage idea, or even under the body? maybe something to store in that somewhat empty space dirctly behind the seats but before the tub comes up 6" to go over the rear axle/tank. I always cringe at the idea of adding so much...

Key off power draw - '06 TJ

Anyone happen to know if the TJ's have a significant key off power draw or a well known culprit? Last week my Jeep wouldn't start, still had enough to 'click' the starter. Left for a business trip. Now the battery is down to 3.5 v. Seems like a significant drain in a short amount of time...

    Lets talk heaters

Webasto does have gasoline heaters. For air and coolant (water). I am considering their coolant heater for my Jeep. For me they seem to have had better customer relations than others.

    OBS F250 Build

I went with true tracks front and rear for ease and simplicity. Although, I havent had them actually engage yet thanks to the wheelbase and weight so I cant actually speak on their performance.
