Hey all,
Up for sale is my entire camp set up. Its served will for 2 years, well over 100, maybe 150 nights. Only very small couple wear spots detailed below.
CVT Mt Baker:
This is Circa 2018 fiberglass unit. It replaced a generic brand ABS wedge style tent I had, which was ironically the same...
The only mattress I'll ever run in an RTT anymore is an Exped MegaMat Duo LW+. It's self inflating so we deflate it when we break down camp which allows us to carry a lot of bedding, pillows, clothes, etc in the tent without issue. when we open it, we close the vent, let it self inflate for a...
That is a good point, with my new 175W panel, I should get plenty of charge for my needs even though it will only be running for less time when the engine bay (battery) has cooled enough. Thanks!
This is true. the Dometic CFX50 has been tested to draw 51W when cooling. I have a 175W panel on my RTT to feed, as well as a deep cycle Odyssey Extreme G31M battery to allow deeper draw with less impact on starting. with the old PWM it could reliably start after 2 days with out alternator...
Oh most definitely, and solar is not needed then, but it does take a considerable amount of time for the battery probe to cool down enough to resume charging after the engine is shut off, losing out on possible energy harvest.
I am running this solar charger to the main engine battery, I do not...
Hey guys ,
I replaced my Renogy Voyager PWM controller with a Renogy Rover Elite MPPT that includes a temp probe for temperature compensations. After driving the vehicle the Rover Elite gives an "over temperature" fault, reading 80-85C at the battery. Removing the temperature probe from the...
That's fair about power, its all relative and personal. I consider adequate to be able to maintain 75mph up a mountain grade without downshifting to 3rd at 4500-5000RPM rather than having to turn off AC or not.
My V8 requires some screaming to maintain the 75-80mph on I10 East of Tucson toward...
I was about to say, the bullbars and aussie swing outs fit the facelift lexus 200 and GX460 (150) because its just a matter of cutting the grill and bumper (usually) straight across. Probably why you see it so commonly. its an easy fit versus with a straight cut versus "interesting" bumpers that...
Bought this with the intention of hard wiring an external antenna lead allowing me to plug in the radio into the cig outlet for power and external antenna and use the handheld CB as a compact and storable vehicle unit. I've decided to sell it because I have literally never used it and no one I...
Hey guys,
bought this trigger six shooter unit to wire up in my vehicle without having to pass through the firewall and using rocker switches for a little more old school era fit. Unfortunate, I was not aware until I opened it months later to install that a warning sheet states it may be...
I've had a tent from the same factory that CVT gets the plastic Mt Bakers from...absolute trash. My tent was from a little start up that sank due to the quality and design of the tents that factory gave them. CVT got a huge order from the same shipment and is at least big enough to absorb and...
Any update on V8 fuel economy? The 16mpg of the diesel 4cyl always impressed me but I completely understand the simplicity and cost of gasoline with the government boot on the throat of diesels these days. It's fantastic that a 2 speed transfer case is back!
Hey guys,
Back story: running a G31 Odyssey Extreme AGM single battery. I have a dometic CFX75 and I originally did math using average consumption of the dometic based off review testing and estimated roughly 45 hours before needing to start the truck to charge. The Arizona oven ensures the...
