For what it's worth, and I know it's been 5 or 6 yrs, but if I were buying now knowing how my Exp One rear bumper experience was, I'd pass. It's held up.... meh~. I had to re-powder coat it right out of the gate., I've had to replace all the bearings since the original ones were an off brand and...
I haven't tried hunt yet, I'd be interested to hear how you like it. I've heard you can drop pins for your kill as well, which would be useful over time.
That's awesome! Can't wait to see you post it up when you get it. There is ALOT to be said for no to minimal setup, it really takes any stress away from exploration/camping.
If I'm not mistaken, I believe OnX Backcountry, which is a different app than OnX, has this, or will be getting this layer soon. I'll have to check mine soon and see.
I get yall's point, I do, it's just a completely different viewpoint and opinion for me. But my main goal is for the lands to be in the hands of those that steward it best. And of all the places I've been too all across the US, the state parks seem better run and maintained, minus the big name...
Has ZERO to do it that. It's 100% ONLY getting it out of federal hands, into the hands of the states in which the lands reside, and the people that frequent it. That's who should have the say, NOT the federal government.
It sounds great to me. Less federal and more state owned would be ideal. Minus the big money making national parks, the state parks are always cleaner and better managed IMO.
I never got more than a couple years from mopar batteries either. I'd replace them with a good, well known AGM of your choice. I went with Duracell AGM Platinum this time around. I believe they were a 4 or 5yr full replacement warranty.
Looking great! Like your deflector idea, anything to help keep wind from grabbing them is a good idea IMO. Interested to hear how it all works for you. Hopefully you get some good full sun days.
