Mock up of 3 out of 4 panels. They are the 160 watt panels by Renogy. Because the dimensions are perfect. I looked at all the other companies with their 180 watts some were 170 etc etc. but these are 51.3 inches long any longer they overhang and that would look weird. Outback FM 80 is alive...

Todays work. Had to get the higher curved Renogy mounts because of the hump in the middle of the roof. Did not come with hardware. Got loads of washers, lock washers nuts and bolts.

Why not get a Ford F-350 or 250 7.3 4x4 and a decent truck camper? Probably get one without the headaches for close to your budget plus or Minus given year and miles.

Exactly what he said. 5.4s are so common and think about maintenance. A 7.3 PSD takes work to keep er running happy. It took me three years to find my rig. Its a 1995 E350 7.3 PSD 4x4. Three years of looking almost daily.

When you say 7.3 you mean the PSD or IDI 7.3?

The roof in all its glory lol. After wet sanding with 1000 then 3000. Some spots. Three grades of compounding. Followed by the glaze then some high grade carnauba wax. Ya know. Makes me wonder if when I had the paint redone if it was just easier to get this thing rhino lined medium light grey.
