Whoa...the new 2020+ Titan Pro-4x has serious potential...

This is exactly why I bought a 1-year old Kia Rondo in 2009 and a 3-year old 2018 Chevy trailblazer earlier this year. They are great cars in and of themselves lost and a lot of value in the first couple of years, and Toyotas with the same specs are out of budget.

    Interesting take on vehicle modification

https://www.outsideonline.com/outdoor-gear/cars-trucks/build-overland-vehicle-like-australian/ Well at least the post made for interesting reading :p. I don't live in the States anymore and don't care much about the (lack of) regulations regarding modifications that are allowed on public roads...

    Interesting take on vehicle modification

I think in the US, the insurance company almost always pays out but... then they have to option to recover the money from the insured if there was a violation of the law or gross negligence etc. It's that way to make sure that the 3rd party is taken care of.

    Interesting take on vehicle modification

It's not a perfect article but I think a lot of it makes a lot of sense for the rigs we use as daily drivers.

Photos of mid-sized vehicles - Post Here

Spotted in my driveway – Zebra71. 2018 Chevrolet TrailBlazer LTZ Z71. Had to move out of the US to have access (logistically and financially) to some nice vehicles. (I passed on a 2018 Mitsubishi Pajero/Montero). Best parts, even apple parlay works with physical knobs and buttons, like all the...

How Many Gears In A Transmission Is Too Many?

9 Gears is definitely too many on a Jeep Renegade. Drove one from San Diego to Yellowstone this summer. Highway passing is a pain as you it needs t downshift to 6th gear before picking up some momentum.

Expedition DAF: Global Capability/Exploration - $57500 (Bend, OR)

I drove these (the dually version that is) when I was serving in the Dutch army. These trucks are awesome. A bit underpowered, but indestructible and a lot simpler than a Unimog.

    1997 Toyota RAV4, my choice

We had one of those in the UAE. It could literally do 80% of what a Landcruiser can do in the desert sand and mountains roads were shed fun. The best part was that with a 2 liter engine and stick shift, we left all those big Landcruisers in the dust at the traffic lights.

    Help identify a trailer

The car is an older Honda Civic CRX, possibly nineties. The licence3 plates were used in Holland in the seventies. It's possible that another country uses/used them too!

Wife Says I Bring Too Much Beer Camping

The problem with wives is that they are right 90% of the time and we can't prove them wrong the other 10%. Sounds like this is a 90%-er???

Dutch camper finds a home in Oregon

Drove the its younger sibling the YA4442 for six months when I was drafted in the Royal Dutch Army. They are awesome trucks. The 4442 has all the goodies of the 4440 plus a 6 speed synchronized gear box. There is a good reason that DAF was did so well in the Paris-Dakar rallies in the 80's and 90's
