Looking good! Do you ever carry anything on the roof / crossbars besides the solar panel? If so, how are you liking the weight of lifting all that with the Grandby sized roof to boot? :-) I carry a couple surfboards up top along with a 100w solar panel and got tired of heaving everything skyward...

You may want to consider how much water you will really need. 30-50 gl will add 250-400+ lbs extra weight. Factor in all the extra weight of your addl planned upgrades. Just sayin'. Some sample/mock weight(s) in the bed will help with your final weight decisions/additions in relation to possible...

Hey Tony, welcome! Good advice from those above. My '04 CTD 4WD, stock rear suspension with LT285/75/18 tires sits just a hair under 8' (with Yakima racks in place). I'd go for the 12' door (minimum). Good luck.

Bought it already leveled, so unsure about brand. Looks like an aftermarket taller coil spring set up front. Yes, it's a Dometic CR65 compressor fridge like FWC installs, but got it MUCH cheaper and it included the flush mount frame. Wired it into my Blue Sea fuse panel to be DC only.

It has been leveled. BTW, I was stationed (TAD) at Redstone Arsenal there in Huntsville back in the early 80's. It can get pretty darn hot and humid there as I remember. :Wow1:
