Sorry, I ment 285/75r16. I had Falkens on my 4Runner and they where great. I just want something different and also no shops around me can get Falkens as quick as they can get Toyo, Cooper or General. Generals ATX are the cheapest and I've not heard any complaints about them so might give them...
I had open countries years ago. The original. Theres just a $20 difference between the Discovery AT3 xlt and open country AT3 at my dealer. Plus he said he can get either next day. I've read that the XLT is a great tire but I kind like the tread better on the Toyo plus its 3 peak rated (not that...
I'm looking at the Toyo Open Country AT3 or Cooper AT3 XLT for my next tire. I've read good things about the Coopers but not much about the Toyo's. What's everyone's experience with either one. Ita a daily driver 3rd gen Tacoma 4x4 so I'm really interested in the snow performance in the winter.
I ordered the 5200. R and P Carriage makes them from 6000 axles. They called today and said the actual weight rating would be less than 5200 cause of the spaces between the hubs and spring perches so they upgraded to 7000 axle at no extra charge. I would highly suggest them.
Got a Dexter 5200 idler axle on the way. Will probably show up while I'm at the Law Enforcement Academy ?.
Decided to wait in brake till I see if I can find replacement parking brake handles.
Still shopping for a axle (I am horrible when it comes to decisions). Anyone have experience with Ultra-Tow axles? Northern Tool has them kn 3500lb in the length I want.
I haven't ordered it yet. I've been debating on that. The trailer o got set for years and the parking brake handles are pretty seized up. Debating whether it's worth messing with.
So I got what I feel is a pretty good price for a 66" Dexter #5000 axle, 6x5.5 bolt pattern with electric brakes and top mount spring perches. $460 shipped unassembled.
