Beautiful setup.
Question on the 14" rollovers on the rear - how are the top mounts fabricated \ placed? I am replacing my 2.0 King 14" fronts with some 2.5 King 12" clippers and considering putting the 14" on the rear. Thinking it might be more of a problem on mine due to lift and LCG...
Well, we got the trailer up to Maine and set up at our camp on the lake. I have been working non-stop and unable to complete any updates. But I have had an opportunity to do some planning and figured out a few things. Still, being set up and getting to "test" the tent and stability with the...
Made some temporary progress. I needed to throw everything on the trailer quickly to get it up to Maine, where we will sort things out. At least I was able to raise the fenders 2", still working on mounting boxes. They are cheapo boxes, so I need internal bracing. Officially starting...
I'm in CT. Not too far away, lets see if someone else takes you up on it that is in more need than I am. If they dont move for you, I'll take a ride.... How far are you from GWB?
Not sure what size the SB items are but Home Depot and many other stores sell Unistrut in 10' lengths that is about 1-5/8". Might work for you to allow some additional support for the full length...
Well you found the right thread - Start from the beginning and there are a good number of water storage solutions, including tank options under the trailer. Also speak with Habitat, they are working on an option for sale as a package. Not sure if it is rolled out yet......
Very cool, thanks for pointing that out. I have a JKU running 37" tires and a Clayton Long Arm kit with 4" rear springs and going to add airbags for leveling. I have a new set of King 2.5" coilovers for the front to replace the 14" 2.0's on there now (for overland travel rather than...
I see you only have one post on this Forum (which leads me to believe you sought it out only after you had an issue). Sorry you had an issue with "your expectations" and felt you had to come to a fairly "constructive" thread and make disparaging remarks. You are probably posting on the wrong...
And me as well. I have blocks I carry for high lift jack as well as leveling. I am also thinking that when I install the Ark750 (sitting in garage) that I will add a stock style attachment to the other side and carry the stock jack around only for emergencies. That stock jokey wheel (if you...
Awesome, thanks for the update. I have one in the garage waiting for my return to install. I decided on the strength of this unit to cover me if I were to have to winch the trailer out of a tough situation. I figured the 750 would be up to that task. I am going to weld the stock mount on the...
Nice! If you look at videos from "Drifta" in Australia, they have a few set ups where this is the basis of the design. He has some pretty cool ideas. I am going to be copying one of his pull out kitchens for our trailer. I would love to make that work, if I could just figure out how to run...
Ha, Yeah I noticed that. I ordered 2 Anchortrax kits for $51 each and they are now $38 !! Thanks for pointing out the Anchors, going to grab a bunch for $1 a piece. Hard to go wrong there......
Hey, I have been planning on the Darche 270 with sidewalls. I like that it folds down fairly short due to opening on both ends. The 30 Second awning looks great and stout. Just curious, being from that side of the world where these are made, any thoughts on one over the other?
Thanks bud, appreciate the feedback. I am planning to run (2) 48" lund boxes tight on the side of the trailer (hoping I can make them fit, I own them already) with (2) 60" boxes above them (extending over the Genny & Kitchen doors). I am going to remove the adjustable receivers and racks that...
