    New Tripolina Chair update

Many of you know that we (AutoHomeUSA) have developed an improved version of the old favorite Tripolina chair. We had hoped to begin deliveries before Christmas of this year, but delivery and stitching schedules have necessitated pushing out this date until after the new year. We apologize for...

44 Labs style rear bumper for F350 SD

Having placed a ARB with an M15000 on the front of my Super Duty, I am thinking about some rear armour. I like the bumpers that Luke at 4X4 labs builds for TLCs. Anyone done something similar?

    Windows tablet and software

I have restarted my search for a medium sized tablet running windows (NOT VIsta), software providing highway turn-by-turn, and mapping software for use in the boonies. I need to get e-mail and web access - via Verizon skycard - on the road so I prefer Windows, and I want to move the unit...

Extended range fuel tank in Ford SD

I have been a little frustrated with the fuel capacity on my SD CC SB Ford - only getting about 450 miles on a tank of diesel. Last week I drove up to Chico and had Transfer Flow install one of their (DOT approved) 46 gallon replacement fuel tanks in my F350 Diesel. They had everything ready...

    Slee's Tundra powered 80 series

At ExPo'11 Our stand was next to Cristo Slee's exhibit and he had his 80 series TLC there with a fresh install of a Tundra 4.7L V8 and transmission - retaining the original Xcase from the 80. It is geared 4.88, I believe. This is an amazing install. It looks totally factory and employs no...

    iPad2 questions

I have not seen one yet and specs are not clear on the reviews I've read... Does the iPad2 have a dock port AND a USB port? Looks like the USB is an adapter cable from the dock port? I was thinking of using a Delorme LT40 (USB interface) and running their street SW as well as some Win XT based...

Ford / International 7.3L diesel vulnerability

I had an experience last week with my low mileage (90K) Ford SD 7.3L. The engine stuttered and began to run very poorly, producing very little power. Drove to an International dealer/repair shop and they diagnosed the problem... There is a wire harness for the glow plugs inside each valve cover...

New tires for the SD - Toyo M55s

I had decided to get Bridgestone Revo IIs, but found that they are in short supply for immediate delivery. My alternative was the Toyo Open Country AT, but they are not available in load range E. So when I was up in Baker, OR yesterday, I bought a set (5) of Toyo M55s with the strong...

    Dynamat to quiet a diesel

Had a complete Dynamat install done today on my F350 SD. Doors, floor, roof, hood, and back of the cab. I does sound better even though the db level is only slightly less than before. There seems to be less ambient high-frequency noise. Gauges tomorrow. Then tires.

Toyo OC ATs vs. Bridgestone Revos

I am preparing to 'retire' my F350 with either of the two tires above - in 285/75/R16. I would probably go larger, but this would require aa leveling kit on the truck, and it is tall enough already. And, yes, I read the tire FAQ about the Toyo MTs... Love the 285/75/R16 (LRD) Revos on my LC...

    Tires for F350 - BFG AT's?

I am considering what tires to put on my F350 7.3L SD when the Michelin M&S tires are done. Looking at a bunch, but curious about BFG ATs - 33" LR-E. Lots of people run them, but I never have - would like to know about on-off road performance, durability and road noise. I will be towing my 24'...
