axle install I felt it best if I had a little help doing the install of the axles. This seemed like a job for a rack, not so great of an idea to do it on the ground in my driveway. I decided to take it back to Ranch Muffler and have them do the install. They have completely remodeled their...

Once the axles arrived, I had to mask and paint them! Love the little Currie Tag!! I decided to paint them semi gloss black. Looking back, I wish I would have done a gun metal gray or something...

The Currie axles turned out to be way beefier than the standard Dana 44 options. The center section was thicker, the tubes had a larger diameter as well as being thicker, the Axle C's were way thicker too!

In Moab...... While I was in Moab, I made a video for work. We filmed Casey Currie, his Axial R/C Jeep and his full size Jeep. I got the opportunity to break out the Hexacopter. I was super stoked to finally use this out in the field and scared to death all at the same time. Seems as the Iron...

First trip after new engine... So we got the engine replaced, and then I got busy. The next opportunity I really had to drive the Jeep was to my Son's Hockey Tournament in San Jose, CA. From there I had to go to Easter Jeep Safari for work, bummer eh :) When I was in Moab, Utah, I decided to...

engine swap continued...... So, as we dug into this engine project, I was amazed at how many moving parts (and electronic parts) had to work in unison to make the engine run properly. It has been a standing joke amongst friends, that if it is forward of the firewall, it is none of my business...

Engine swap continued.... I also had to address the cooling system. Along with a new water pump, I purchased an aluminum Radiator from Griffin, water lines and thermostat. I was hoping to see it run just a little cooler than the standard 210. I am very pleased with the quality of this...

Thank you sir! Yes, I am still all about the drawer config. and pelican arrangement. To be honest, it may be better to consider alternate materials, as I have approx. 12K miles on the jeep with the drawers and the hinges tend to loosen from the wood over time. The wood itself seems to have...

The last year and a half plus... I am finally back on the forum. The last few years have been a bit of a whirlwind for myself and the family. A lot has happened since we last chatted, most of which pretty good, and a little bit of it, downright crappy. Just to get the crappy out of the way, I...
