Okay, thank you for the explanation. Where do I get the lift struts? Right now my rack is very tall and it slides straight down into some larger diameter square tubing that is welded to my trailer; the RTT isn't on yet, so until now, we've been raising and lowering the rack manually (prior to...
Any chance one of you would explain exactly how this works? I'd like to run this same setup on my RTT trailer. Thanks.

Well, the plot thickens:
I googled canbus trailer lighting and found the following, which isn't about my Jeep, but I'm pretty sure is the same thing going on. Dealer needs to reset it!

On your advice I took all of the ground wires off of the negative terminal and added more dielectric grease to them all; there are no visible signs of corrosion, but my brake controller was flashing a "losing ground" error last week as well, and its grounded at the same location as the 7-way OEM...
I plugged the trailer back into my Grand Cherokee today and the lights are fine. I believe that this is an electrical gremlin that might be related to the CANBUS of the Wrangler. I will keep you guys posted. Thank you for the suggestions!
Allahades: thanks for the reply. After looking at my bike mounts, I would likely just drill holes into the planks of the pioneer to bolt the mounts on. I don't need them to be adjustable for my setup. When the day comes, I'll post pics. Thanks again.

How exactly are you attaching this to the Rhino Rack? I'm looking at adding one of these to my JKU (Rhino Rack) and I am wondering how I can mount my Yakima bike mounts to it. Thanks.

The trailer running light circuit on my 2012 JKU isn't working; I tested the lights on my Grand Cherokee and it's not the trailer. Brake light circuit works fine, as do all of the other circuits in the oem 7-pin connector. I called my dealer and she looked up that the circuit is tied to the...
If you look at cost divided by warranty length, the Sam's at $179 for 18 months is a $10 a month cost (if it died at 18 months). The Batteries plus at $215 after 10% discount divided into 30 months is $7.17 per month, which is 28% less expensive. That's why I went with the Batteries Plus model...
This is the one I got; it's a deep cycle marine.

Don't you guys think that with the different warranties between Sam's Club and Batteries Plus that these HAVE to be built a different way? If it was only price due to Sam's buying power, they'd have the same warranty. That's my thought on them. I did the "cost per month of warranty"...
To be clear, the one I'm buying at Batteries Plus is not the same one as is the title of this thread; they are a little different, hence the increased price.

100 AH. It's a Group 31, which is solely a measurement of the case of the battery (I believe that's the only thing the Group # references).

Aaaaand, Batteries Plus cancelled my order at the local store level. The kid called me and said, "we don't carry that battery here". So I said, "it's on your website, can't you order it?" His reply, "I'm not sure, but I don't think so". Then he just sat there. To which I told him to have a...
I just bought a Duracell Ultra G31 from Batteries Plus for $239.99 with 10% off for in-store pickup. 30 month warranty. Since I can't seem to find anyone on the forum that has tried this battery, I will and I will report. My Diehard Platinum Marine has lasted 6 and a half years! I'm doubting...
OP: would you be willing to make one of those harnesses for me if I paid you? I want to put a Rigid lightbar behind my grill. Please let me know. Thanks. Great work.
Gentlemen: I found a local guy in St. Louis to weld my frame. I'm still not sure where to get the mounts and bushings for the trailing arms, or even what I should be looking for. Thoughts? Thanks.
