    Bomber Products awning mounts?

I have the original version for an ARB 2000 on Yakima round bars. They work great. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    DONE! Building a battery box

Progress so far... Pelican 1600, 100Ah AGM, solar controller with MC4 inputs, AC charger with AC input port, outputs to ARB fridge, USB and DC socket. Wrestling with how to incorporate a Renogy DC/DC charger.* Need to add an inverter, vents, and probably fan/temp sensor.* * Advice welcome...

New DC to DC Charger From Renogy-20 amps or 40 amps-Flooded/AGM/GEL/Lithium

On right side bottom, input for AC extension cord to charger, above that ARB fridge socket. On side of box is connector for MC4 to solar panels. Haven’t installed venting yet. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

New DC to DC Charger From Renogy-20 amps or 40 amps-Flooded/AGM/GEL/Lithium

Can anyone recommend an appropriate relay that would send signal to converter when car/alt is running and voltage is higher? The big idea here was to have everything self contained in an battery box, so that It could move car to car. If practical, would have a 12v power input from...

New DC to DC Charger From Renogy-20 amps or 40 amps-Flooded/AGM/GEL/Lithium

Yes - switched on by D+ signal, alternator signal or switched input signal... I imagine would have to add a voltage sensing relay to control that. Suggestions? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

New DC to DC Charger From Renogy-20 amps or 40 amps-Flooded/AGM/GEL/Lithium

I have the 20 amp. 10AWG is already wired for an ARB fridge (ARB’s wiring kit). Will look at 8AWG and a distribution box in rear. Will try with the 10AWG to see how the converter works while I order wire and a box. The DC/DC converter also needs to be wired to ignition to turn automatically...

New DC to DC Charger From Renogy-20 amps or 40 amps-Flooded/AGM/GEL/Lithium

I have received the 20A version from Renogy. My plan is to connect it to a 10 AWG wire running from my starter battery to a 100Ah battery box in the back of my rig. The converter will be inside the battery box, with appropriate ventilation. Any advice on things that I should consider as I wire...

    ARB threaded socket

Anderson is my other option. Seems cleaner to have the one wire running for the starter battery to the back, where I can use the ARB socket directly for the fridge, or directly into a DC/DC converter in a battery box (and run fridge from the ARB female socket already installed in the battery...

    ARB threaded socket

I have the ARB fridge wiring kit and the 12v threaded socket. I want to be able to use the same ARB female socket to connect to a battery box or the fridge. Is the male ARB 12v socket (pictured) a standard socket that I can order online or is it proprietary to ARB? Sent from my iPhone using...

New DC to DC Charger From Renogy-20 amps or 40 amps-Flooded/AGM/GEL/Lithium

Saw this from their email announcement. I’m in the middle of building a battery box. I have an AC charger built into it already. Was thinking to add this as well to charge/run from the 4Runner while driving. Any reason not to do that? Alternative in my mind was to run DC from car through solar...

    DONE! Building a battery box

It’s a Renogy 100Ah AGM. I’ll put vents, potentially a fan, on the box - won’t run anything without airflow. When I use the battery now, it just sits out in the open. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    DONE! Building a battery box

The box I have is a Pelican 1600, and my 100 Ah battery fits with extra room for other equipment. It’s heavy for sure, but thinking if it could be all in one it would be convenient, albeit unwieldy. My use case is in the back of a 4Runner, in camp or elsewhere. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    DONE! Building a battery box

Hello all. I am looking for DIY wiring schematics and/or guide to build a battery box in a larger Pelican case. I want to create a single power box that I can keep in my vehicle, at a camp site or at home that will sustain power for my needs, and can be charged from various sources. I’m hoping...

Two panels in parallel, but amps don’t increase

Thanks. The 10A fuse that blew is between controller and battery, near battery. Controller is up to 30A. Wiring is 10/12 gauge. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Two panels in parallel, but amps don’t increase

This may have been the issue - reset on a different battery, then put on a load. Eventually it blew the 10A inline fuse. Should in replace the fuse with a 15A, or stay with 10? With 200W, and hitting 10A, thinking I need to increase the fuse amperage. Will this have consequences? I’m new at...

Okay - took apart and reconnected everything - amps doubled. Thanks for responding. In any case, should I add diodes? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
