I really like the 7.3 godzilla engine from ford. Basically, I don't envision us towing super frequently plus living in a city, it would take a substantial amount of time for the extra cost of the 6.7 diesel to be worth it. Plus in california, diesel is super expensive right now. The primary...
I'm sure I'd mostly be fine with it but with the wife, two kids and the dog in the truck I could see a bumpy ride being an issue. Ideally, I'd like to really use the truck to get off the grid for trips to baja or weekend camping and I feel like the f-250/f-350 is going to be more burly.
For those of you who have 3500's or f-250/f-350, how much weight do you have to have in the back for the ride to not be as harsh. While I aspire to having some kind of camper whether it be a Lance or a FWC type, it's unlikely that I'd have it on there permanently. I live in a fairly urban...
I'd want the longer bed since I've got two kids and a dog. We pack a ton of stuff when we go out of town. I live near San Francisco so heated seats aren't a huge deal but I like the digital gauges, auto 4wd sounds nice but not sure whether I'd take advantage of it or not. I believe the...
Did you look at the XLT trim or did you go with the lariat for certain reasons? I know the leather seats and LED headlights are nice on the Lariat but I'm wondering if it's worth the 10K price jump. Great build.
definitely like the idea of having a base camp, it just becomes whether we are dropping the trailer at a campground and venturing or going off the grid a little and dropping it. It's kinda nice to be able to camp on BLM land without other folks around.
the game between a travel trailer and a hard camper like a Lance is tough. I’d love to get off the beaten path a bit to explore which rules out a travel trailer but with two kiddos and a dog a Lance is tight.
I go back and forth between wanting a new f-150 bs a f-250 tremor. Wouldn’t be towing hardly at all but the ability to add a camper like a Lance is attractive. With two kids and a dog, I’m not sure a fwc would be enough room.
