Broke and striped rocker bolts (LR3)

I think they owe you unrecoverable lost value due to inability to make that whole again as new. This is why I remove any underbody and/or aftermarket parts before taking to a shop, ESPECIALLY dealers. They behave like total morons too often.

Sump guard bolts should be very inexpensive . I have a few drawers of M5-6-8-10-12-14 etc dif heads lengths etc. grade 8 and stainless. You’ll find it’s not a bad idea to just replace rusty ones every so often anyway.

Looking for an '06+ LR3 with HD package...

Seems like nobody answered the end question. NO is your answer. HD was a line item option not included w anything else. Only on the Supercharged Sports and full size RR did the locker automatically also come with the SC level build. In that case it was standard. It is basically unnecessary...

Stuffed a Group 31 (100 Ah) battery to the AUX battery location in the LR3 =)

Me too now LOL. I do have the Odessey charger, a 3 phase actually which of course allows me to do both at the same time. Got it on a big discount. I need to learn about this lr3 charging them though. I don’t have a fancy system monitor but it sounds like I may be able to use my iidtool? Mine...

New LR3/4 18" Wheels on AULRO

I hate odd spoking. 5 bolts should have multiples of 5, not 6, always hated that on any car. BMW is pretty good w keeping the multiple, some of my favorites are 15 spline as 5 sets of 3 pattern. Pet peeve obviously ;)

    Project Victory_Overland 08 LR3 Build Thread!

Wow nice idea to mount the heat shield to belly armor. I swapped out the little bolts with standard hex head and shorter. Reason for hex head is a ratcheting box wrench is way easier to slide in for the tight ones than the L shaped end of an Allen wrench. Plus the ratcheting box is so quick vs...

    2007 LR3 - my 10 yr build thread...

I of course will always have the llams in but i don't always default to using it all the time during all situations. Here's why: It provides on the fly over-ride control as +20 or +25 (i can't recall), then +50mm, or -20. On a gravel road with the usual pot holes etc, the +20 is perfect to...

    2007 LR3 - my 10 yr build thread...

Pretty much have the strut spacers and ride height settings dialed in now. Used “tight tolerances” mode to adjust each corner to be at exactly factory plus 50mm hub center to fender. DIY shorter rods are good length, (I forget but close to 10 mm shorter I think) Nice outing yesterday : Big...

    LR3 Rear suspension insight needed.

You could simply use factory parts from one of the usual suppliers. I have heard some people not have the best results with Arnott though I'm not sure under what conditions. FYI I replaced all 8 control arms and all other suspension parts last year myself. There is an important part that does...

    LR3 Rear suspension insight needed.

I have the front ones on and have not found the necessary key part to complete a rear combination. I do not wish to take apart the original strut just to retrieve the missing part. This has been a big annoyance to be honest.
