    2019 Tundra

This has gotten me curious, my F-150 is right on the bump stops with 1500 while I have a little room to spare on the Tacoma. That said, my Tacoma rides rough. It looks to have overloads on it, but I'm pretty sure they weren't added aftermarket since I knew the original owner very well. My Tacoma...

    2019 Tundra

The baseline F-150 is way under sprung, my Tacoma handles 1500 lbs much better than the F-150. But after 10 hours behind the wheel, I feel better climbing out of the F-150 than the Tacoma. Torn on the Titan, though I see a bunch every day now.

Well from my understanding of some posts above, the newer ones are less reliable than what you had in the 70's and 80's.

This has gotten stupid, let me go on record, Fords are horrible, they have little bitty motors, that get horrendous gas mileage and the current models are less reliable than they have ever been in the history of ford. They are too big, too comfortable and too quite (real men dont need that)...

Tacomas have gotten stupid on resale. Theres no way a 4 year old with 100,000 miles is worth $3k less than a new one. Fords little V6 is a great motor, but there are a few things that concern me as it gets the miles on it. Like water pump replacement, having to pull the engine, or the front...

No, I suggest that coolaid drinkers will brook no dissent from their opinion. Theres no anecdotal for me, only personal. I've had 2 F-150's, 2 Nissans and a Toyota. All have been pretty much perfect. The last F-150 is the most comfortable truck i have ever owned. I dont care what you buy, nor do...

    2019 Tundra

My experience has been different than yours obviously. Last F-150 I drove 125,000 miles and never put a wrench to it other than tires and oil changes. Got 66,000 on this one, havent touched anything but a new battery. Thats a pretty good cost of ownership. My Tacoma gets 18 mpg, this 150 is a...

    2019 Tundra

I agree, the take away for many here is, Ford and Chevy have made some pretty significant increases in efficiency, reliability and comfort. If as toylandcruiser says, Toyota doesnt care, they are either myopic or fools. Because thats what Ford and GM thought when Toyota and Honda made their...

My first generation Xterra would have gotten 18 mpg on that drive with the engine off and coasting.

It requires building up a lot of RPM's to move out quickly, but once it has a head of steam it moves on.

    white gas(coleman fuel)=unleaded fuel

How long is a piece of string? Depends on how much you use them, I have gone a week and never refilled a lantern, other times a day and a half.
