Ready set go!
Haha. So I am actually looking at one for next fall that will be my Daily Driver. Will be new purchase. And needs to be able to handle all the trails in the UP, but also tow my Airstream, 6k when fully loaded with all the kids stuff and fluids.
I like the fact that I can go...
I ended going independent on these. Ran to power and set up a switch in the cab by my dash light controls. That way I can have them on all the time if I want or not at all, full control.
I do know them make the dog light kits for these too. I have seen a comparison of each, one using the...
Got my lights installed!
Went with the Baja Designs Squadron Sports. Chose the yellow combo lens (can be easily swapped for $10 to clear or amber spot or flood as well).
Mounted them up on a pair of mounts from SDHQ. The quality on these is amazing. True bolt on, no curing required, took about...
Sure are. I would look at the full MCCCT. You can find it here with maps. Great rides. I have done the MCCCT before in full. Took a few days and was well worth it.

Couldn’t wait til tomorrow. So I just finished it.
Paint is looking better as it’s curing. Probably needs a good wet sand and polish Then should be good.
Got my Raptor style grill test fit today. Will finish up tomorrow.
Paint is actually a really close match at the same angle. Still needs to be finished but that will be a bit.
Putting together a connection of routs in Northern Lower Michigan.
Did a trial run on the first yesterday. Starting with Tin Cup Springs. 18 mile loop.
It was gorgeous, but cloudy and sprinkled a few times. Overall love the Bilsteins on the truck. The trail was good. Mix of hardpack, sand...
Got out today in Northern Lower Michigan for a color tour. Ended up running the 18 miles long Tin Cup Springs ORV Route. It was gorgeous, but cloudy and sprinkled a few times. Overall love the Bilsteins on the truck.
Just ordered some ditch lights.
Got the Baja Designs Squadron Sport, Yellow combo light. The lens can be swapped for clear and/or any of the available patters. Quite excited to try it out. And some SDHQ mounting brackets.
I raptor lined the bumpers and rockers/lower doors. Got sick of repair paint chips out of them. Pics are right after tape was taken off tonight. Can’t wait for it to fully cure!
I like this idea. I use a roll up tonneau cover which I love. But I also use a tailgate pad to put our 6 bikes on. I can’t do that with a decked system in all the time but could with a slide.
How do you organize your tools and gear in your bed if you aren’t using a rack system?
I am currently only using bins and looking for something nicer without spending the money on a decked system.
These are a plug and play product. It’s from F150LEDs. The thing I like it that come with a ballast and cooling fan on the back and keep the stock beam pattern, but much brighter. They each 8k lumens and 6000k in color. The difference is unreal going down the road or trail and I don’t need a new...
Truck today....needs a bath badly!
Better photos of the Bilstein goodness!
So far it’s been awesome. Really like how it rides, handles and works on the rough. Seems the tougher it is, the happier it is!
