An F250 has a GVW of about 10,000 lbs
It is simply to light duty
The Bud cab on the C700 is not a light weight
What rear suspension are you using?
I had considered the Hendrixson air ride walking beam but ended up with custom springs in my four spring suspension. While not the greatest off-road suspension it does great for what I do with the truck now
RV’s if properly registered are exempt from carb
Why do you want to convert the truck to IFS?
Since the front suspension is currently a solid axle with leaf springs. A straight powered front axle will not require the frame in the front to be redesigned.
The rear probably will need to be...
Because it is the truth.
Simpler is often better.
This is also the same reason that drum brakes are still very common on class 8 trucks. Drum brakes dissipate the heat better than disc brakes on class 8 trucks.
That’s going to be a long truck at 40 plus feet.
What gear ratio are you running?
What tire size do you plan to run?
What engine and hp are you getting?
With that length high centering will be a major concern. How far off of the pavement are you planning on going?
Mine is only 29 feet long...
Hot saw?
I stoped worrying about that when I went to a makita 36 volt saw.
For storage I take the bar off. The bar and chain are stored in the scabbard and the whole thing is in a duffle bag. A quart of bar oil is stored with the vehicle fluids
The hitch tube is currently below the crosswise tube. It could be rebuilt to be behind or on top but without seeing the frame and the rest of the underside of the camper it is impossible to say how much you can gain

Craftsman tools went through a questionable time with the Chinese tools but they are moving a bunch of the production back to the USA
I have a lot of craftsman tools spanning over 4 decades, I guess I am getting old. And you can see the changes over the years.
The worst thing craftsman did...
For replacement craftsman tools you have Lowe’s
There used to be a sears at the mall by my house but that’s gone. There is one about 30 minutes west or the same south but the stores are almost empty. Very sad.
I still frequent a lot of family run business but they are disappearing one by one...
Where are you located?
What amperage are you working with?
It took me just a quick search to find there catalog and multiple dealers
Grainger even sells there products
I think you need to try a different dealer!

What was the upgrades that you had quoted?
If you call it a RV garage that automatically allows 14 foot tall doors but you have to maintain standard building setbacks and not accessory building setbacks.
At least that’s how it works around here
Protech will make custom sized boxes that are not any more expensive that there standard box that is that size.
They will make anything as long as you can supply them with a drawing
I have not asked them to build a triangular box, yet
The only catch is you have to order through a local dealer
