1st Gen "Taco" on the "Frontier"!

I can shed some light on this I think, as a former D22 owner. The first gen Frontier we get here has a few pitfalls that the Toyota does not have. First among which is the aftermarket support, as mentioned. Calling it "limited" is being extremely generous. It's more or less nonexistent. Beyond...

Probably the only one of these on here!

Hey man, Walter White really liked his... :sombrero: In all seriousness, looks like you had a lot of fun. I 100% agree that it's not what you drive. The idea of this form of recreation is not the vehicle but the experiences you get to have with it. That's why we do what we do.

    Crazy Idea?

You couldn't flush mount it though. The grille is raked backwards.

    Zam15’s Tacoma Build

Hot damn! That thing is gonna be unstoppable! That rear travel is ridiculous. It'll be like driving around on top of a slinky. Also, that rear diff looks like it would survive most IEDs. Can't wait to see it finished.

Titan with topper, rack for RTT?

Now that's the way to go in my opinion.

    Crazy Idea?

Like a round light? That could work.

"The Moose" 2012 Nissan Frontier PRO-4X Build Thread and some stories MNCarl

Interesting observations with the sway bar. I've been considering putting mine back on, but with longer end links. With a little time in on McMaster Carr's website and about $50, you can build your own out of some heim joints that are the correct length for a lifted truck. Should help with the...

I remember that boathouse. Maligne is so pretty. Is it smoky up there right now? Some of your photos look a little hazy. Looks like there's some fires in the area. Hope you're having a great time!

"Lola" - WreckDiver1321's 2005 Frontier CC/SB Nismo Build and Adventure Thread

Sorry for all the broken photos folks Well I see the folks at Photobucket are being complete and utter jerkwads. They want me to pay $400 a year to display photos on forums. So they can politely go ****** themselves. I used to use Photobucket for all my technical photos. The trip photos and more...

"Lola" - WreckDiver1321's 2005 Frontier CC/SB Nismo Build and Adventure Thread

I don't have much on it, maybe 700 miles. Still performing very well. I'm very happy with it, but it's no race car. It's definitely an improvement over stock though, especially with the 33s.

    Kootenay's Pro4X Frontier

For what it's worth, I run 285/75/16 Grabber AT2s, and I don't find them to be way too wide or excessively heavy. I've never had an issue with them on the stock rims. I still pull about 18 mpg doing 70 mph on the highway. They're a good tire and have served me well. That being said, I think...
