    ExPo's 2000 7.3 Excursion Build

I was surprised by their performance, as was my friend who ran them on his Cherokee. They're a great deal, and will likely be my next set of tires unless I go to all terrains. I carry all of my food, cooking supplies, and campfire stuff in there along with my hammock, shower, and a few other...

I bet they have some good sales now... I wouldnt swap the 6bt in. Ive seen those trucks done before and theyre never the same. Just rebuild and keep driving. :) It's all relative. What's worse, paying 25k for a low mile clean diesel excursion with leather heated seats, or paying 40 for a new...

So who has weighed in recently? I filled the Excursion up completely with fuel and drove it on the scale, tools, recovery gear etc packed in. Anyone want to take a guess at the total?

As a few others have chimed in each platform has its advantage. The V10s are reliable and you can rebuild them twice for the cost of one 7.3 rebuild. The only huge downside is range. Depending on the truck you may reduce your off-road range by 1/3 or even a half using the petrol motor. Most of...

The rear cargo door has a key and it doesnt punch out like the side doors. I can go in that way if all power is lost.

    ExPo's 2000 7.3 Excursion Build

I worry about that a fair bit after a break in last January. First off I run rear door handles on the front and rear. These have no external lock mechanisms in them, so they can't be punched out like the original door locks. I've thought about getting a ravelco, but haven't pulled the trigger...

I have a buckstop rear bumper, and the turtle expedition runs buck stop bumpers on their ford camper. Pretty solid products. http://buckstop.biz/turtle.html

Issue w\ Roof Top tent: Floor caving?

Ive never had an issue with an Eezi-Awn denting, and based on my experience with the ruggedized Tepuis I wouldn't think they would dent, but I cant speak from experience there. I never stood on the tepui

buckwilk, I sent a message to you to letting you know that I checked things over and we've been experiencing this issue. I asked if the problem had been resolved and requested you log in and out again. You never responded to my message or reached out in anyway. If you had, my next course of...

Thank you! And yes I could be interested. These spacers are from Bora, good product and basically brand new lol. Ill shoot you a message So it depends how you use them. Let me try to break it down. Risk: Some people use them instead of heavy springs or as a main form of suspension. In my...

Okay so if I can recall where I left off, not much has changed lol. I've done a few more trips, but the truck remains mostly the same. I think the last images I posted were around the time I had installed the bumper?? If so here are a few shots from recent outings. There are the few...

Thanks! They're great trucks Appreciate that! So of course it's not showing me the actual part for the fit kit. Is that the hanger spacer? If so the X does not have that same hanger like the f250. I think I ended up with one but had nowhere to put it. I did install the add a leafs from them...

    ExPo's 2000 7.3 Excursion Build

Thats a really helpful insight! So Im running stock wheels on the 315/75/16s and they rubbed in the rear on the leaf spring at full lock as yall stated. I ended up running a 1.25" spacer on my stock wheels which eliminated the rubbing.
