Yeah I wont be towing anything, it will be my daily driver in the city, good amount of highway to get to spots, gravel roads and some trails. Just not sure about the Eco boosts yet, it seems like most people either love them or hate them lol

What are peoples opinions on roof top tents vs truck canopies to sleep in, one thing with a truck a canopy I have been thinking about is how much dust will get in it on gravel roads?

If I get a F-150 undecided on the engine, but would def. be getting the super cab and 6.5' box!

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah the more and more i think about and given my limited parking I am leaning towards a fullsize truck with just a truck canopy then build a drawer sleeping platform in the bed or something like that. Will keep everyone posted when I make the decision!

Agreed! This was one of the main reasons I am considering a F-150 because of the price. Also the range that you could get with the 4x4 3.3l engine and huge 136L gas tank and yeah it does come with the electronic rear locker. Was curious how well the electronic rear locker works?

I have thought about this, the main problem is I live in an apartment that only has one parking stall in a parkade so I would have to store the trailer else where otherwise I would have considered a trailer, this is the reason I am also limited to 7 feet clearance which makes things a bit more...

Yeah maybe I will check out the 5.0 as well!, kind of want to stay away from the eco boost engines as you have to put premium gas in them? Which up here is about 10 cents to 15 cents more a liter then regular gas

Most affordable, fuel efficient 4x4 set up

Agreed the the Colorado would be too small to sleep in, I would need something like the GFC camper or OVRLND Pop Top. The only real reason i am considering a f-150 is the price I can get a F 150 super cab 4x4 for about $32000 new and low interest rate. Would like a Tundra or Nissan with the...

Wow thanks for everyone's reply, I did consider a Subaru outback but just feel like there would not be enough room. Also considering a f 150 as they are pretty cheap right now, but with just the 3.3L gas (Anyone have experience with the 3.3L engine?) Also considering gas Colorado or Canyon if a...

Hey Everyone, New to the forum from Alberta Canada, I currently just have a Mazda CX-5 that I have been exploring in for the last three years which has been ok. I am currently looking for a new set up and was hoping to get some suggestions for setups and the pros and cons. I am kind of leaning...
