Def looking into DRZs as well, I loved my SM and really, really wish I had never sold it. I would go with another one again in a heartbeat, but want something for dirtroads/offroad as well. I didn't realize they had dropped that much in price though, thanks for the heads up.

Don't shy away from the earlier years as well, my advice (as with all cars) is to find the lowest mileage, most well cared for example and go with that, even if its a few years older. Happy Hunting!

I love my 02 Disco. It's was a one owner, low mileage car when I bought it last year for 8k. It is 100% stock and has never had any problems getting me where I want to go. I mostly use it for forest road type driving as well and it does great :) Once you get a LR it's hard to ever want...

Its a track bike so generally they have no brakes, the PO put a rear on it and I am going to add a front as well. The snow storm nailed us! Give me a shout next time you're in the 'quay and we'll have a brew at Aviator.

I've now had mine for a couple weeks and am quite pleased with them. They broke in quickly, are super comfortable and fit my feet great. I'll keep updating this thread as they wear in.
