My son wanted to go exploring again so we set out to a place locally known as the Swamp Ghost. Jeepers go here a lot but there have been many stories of many of them getting stuck in the mud mostly by pure stupidity and ignorance. They started putting "No trespassing" signs in the areas that...
Good to see the Montero getting you to where you needed to go.
Your oil leak is what is probably killing your alternator. Do you know where its leaking from? Most common areas are the valve cover gaskets and the cam seals in these motors especially if aftermarket low quality parts were used...
Oil change was due so perfect time to install these parts. Oil filler tube was leaking so I ordered a new OEM one....no more leaking. I also was missing the lower portion of my fan shroud that I kept forgetting to order till my radiator issue a month ago so I ordered it.

I bought some retainer clips from Oriellys. I cut to size 3m double sided tape for a more secure fit and act as a seal. The lowest hole I noticed is where the water drains so I didn't plug that hole.
My daughter has taken a liking to helping me work on my cars...so she insisted on installing...
