Sorry to hear about your not so “cool” experience with Kuhl. I’ve had about 10 pair over the past 4 years and they’re really the only pants I wear anymore. One pair quit on me after catching some freshly sheared expanded metal but that’s the only problem I’ve had lately and no fault of the...
Sorry to hear that. It’s a clean looking rig. I’m a few months away from a purchase but I’m probably going back to a regular size truck.
Hang in there, best of luck with the sale.

Not bad. Nicely prepared rig. I’m planning to sell my Tacoma and would consider a land cruiser like yours but I doubt yours will still be available. It seems to be a really well thought out and executed build.
Hank, I think your rig may be great for getting out there and exploring. As a base camp or dirt/backroads rig. My AWD Astro Van was one f the best vehicles our family ever had. The Tigers are a widely accepted capable unit on any base vehicle. It’s a cool rig. Thanks for sharing it here. I’m...
Kuhl has pants for everyone. I’ve had all the “not jeans” and even kept my 5.11’s for painting and heavy grease or diesel projects. One pair of dockers and a few brooks brothers dress pants are in my closet too but all I wear anymore are the Kuhl’s. They have long and short inseams and many...
I’ve gone full Mystery Ranch for all current needs. Just bought a commuter low key “normal looking” 31L for my daily truck pack. I’ve found these packs to take serious abuse and remain fully functional. Only complaint is that they use heavier materials but they also have some lighter options. I...
From Buffalo Pass we headed to Craig Co. Not much adventure but we washed the truck off and the Craig KOA had a great laundry and hot showers.
Here’s a few more pics from Buffalo Pass and a few from the Teton’s and Yellowstone. The Teton’s were magnificent and Yellowstone surprisingly good...
Buffalo Pass was great! Some rough spots but nothing an all wheel drive car couldn’t handle. There’s lots of off road and off psite things to do within a couple hour drive or less from Steamboat. We can definitely see the potential in having a place here for the summertime. :)
There’s a nice...
We drove through RMNP and into Estes Park for lunch and to buy a new pair of hiking boots from The Warming House.....Hiking boot specialists for a long time and still as good as ever. RMNP was really busy and Bear Lake was closed due to reaching capacity by 10:30 AM. We drove out to see the Rock...
A few more pics of Jones Pass. Airing down, sharing the parking area at the trailhead with other Tacoma’s, and on to Green Ridge campground on Shadow Mountain Lake just outside RMNP.
