I guess it would motivate me to do another cross-country journey, but not with the way the snow is coming down across most of the country.

It starts at the end of Silverado Canyon, off of Santiago Canyon just passed Irvine Lake. My GPS labels it as Maple Springs Truck Trail, but not sure how accurate that is.

Nice pics! I just did that route on Sat. and ended up camping one night in Blue Jay. Great route and I love the optional rugged turn-offs which I took advantage of.:smiley_drive:
