SOLD (Sorry) - 2013 Malayan Tiger, 3500 Chevrolet Duramax

apples and oranges, yours is far nicer, more powerful and has a far steeper price tag new. His has the kinks and depreciation worked out, and his can go anywhere in the world far easier than anything from 08 and newer.

    UJOR Build Thread

thanks for that. I respect your opinion as it seems over the years you've researched and tried things on your trips. I am stuck between a nice classb/c or doing a fuso build. Just seems a 15 year old classB/C can be had for cheap and all set up relatively quickly and for a fair prices.

THanks for the insight. To me these make so much sense for long distance 2 people travel. Thats why I asked the questions in the other thread. The wife says a bath and shower are a must. I've seen some of the others that you've done and was wondering about durability.

Class C 4x4 to travel the western hemisphere- anyone done it?

I just can't see spending 150k for a FUSO/global conquer the world vehicle. I am really torn. I love the sportsmobile but it wont work for a vehicle to live out of for that length of time. I like the chinook, not sure what others are comparable. I love the idea of an ambulance, and...

Class C 4x4 to travel the western hemisphere- anyone done it?

yes but for the wife to be happy to spend several years on the road, I would then be doing a fuso with a full expedition set up. so instead of 50k, id be 150-200k I don't know that I need to spend 3-4 times as much. But yes I don't want my vehicle to come undone in Chile. I am only...

Class C 4x4 to travel the western hemisphere- anyone done it?

ive owned 2, phenomenal road trip vehicle. I've looked at the sportsmobiles, they are fine with exception of the lack of bath/shower. And it's not really about me, I can get by and work it out, Its my wife that would have a tough time.

Class C 4x4 to travel the western hemisphere- anyone done it?

Van is just too small to be comfortable for an extended period of time. I wish it wasn't so, as life would be simple, but a bathroom and shower on a 1-2 year trip makes it feel like you have your "own" space. The issue with the truck/camper which I do like, and have met many people from the...

Class C 4x4 to travel the western hemisphere- anyone done it?

My wife and I are planning to make a trip, like lots of others and take several years and travel from the US, down into central america then onto south america. Nothing new, but I haven't seen a lot of people do it in an RV. I love the Fuso campers, but seems like alot of money. We want a...
