I really really hate this thread. I always wanted a sprinter. Drove a few and talked myself out of buying a few times. But this really lights a fire. I can't wait to see this complete. First in line when owner wants to sell :)
I have the rims powdercoated, but I still have that blingy metal tire cover on the back, I took it off but it looks bad back there, what kind of tire covers can I get for that, prefer some sort of flat plate or such
agreed on all counts.
i think she is underestimating the amount of work all old vehicles need especially vanagons. I think she has this romantic ideal of what it would be like, but no real world groundings of what its actually like. That's why my opinion is get something new or slightly...
Cole don't take this as an attack on you. That's not what I meant at all. I'd say I agree with you 99% and I have nothing negative of your advice especially since I find it aligns with my ideas and beliefs. I just think this thread is an opinion for each, that help can't be focused when...

this thread is pathetic. I am wondering if Jen will every buy a van? You are all over the place on your search. Its like going to buy a yaris and coming home with a Tundra. I hate to sound like an ***, but narrow it down and buy something. 41 pages of advice and lack of direction...
perfect I appreciate it. I guess what's the benefits of a hard side? I want to put surfboards on top, and then want to be able to stay warm in the winter. 15 degrees at the lowest. I was hoping for a shower and a toilet in it as well
Didn't see a it answered. Guessing on a smaller truck or an 1/2 ton the pop up helps save weight. But on a 3/4 ton or 1 ton what are the advantages. I had a pop up camper and a regular camper. The regular was much more convenient and from pics the pop up camper seems similar. What am I...
okay cool was wondering Wasn't looking for outright disclosure, just wasn't sure if you were in the business for sure.
, I'd hate to reinvent the wheel, but might work something where I send it to you with my ideas then Ill fly out and camp my way home :)
