Need some more details on what noises you are hearing. (Road, tire hum, engine, exhaust, interior rattles, resonance, etc) Also, check the fit of the doghouse. It's easy to misalign the pins that face forward, and the lower latches can become loose over time.

Just pick a destination and go! Spend your money on maintenance and fuel. Keep a running log of what worked and what did not. Prioritize your activities and add things that make doing what you like easier or more enjoyable. Whatever you do, try to avoid the mistake that many of us do...
