Deal for 60W portable solar panel

In my experience these little foldables do not come close to the rated output power. Don't waist the money on this. Read the reviews on amazon as well. One persons best case could put 52% into his 10.8V/25.5Ah battery.

    Too Many KEYS!

Well then it depends on your trim level. If you have the TRD package with push button start, then the Bolt product is not compatible. If you have the SR or SR5 with a standard keyed ignition, then the Bolt products are compatible. This is the same keying strategy as 2016.

What brand/viscosity oil in your Montero?

Yeah, T6 is API SN (IIRC) rated for passenger cars so it passes requirements on cars that use catalytic converters. Any oil burning is not good for a cat or 3. Eventually it will trash your cat(s). I have been running it in my '05 for more than 8 years & 100K miles, change every 3K, never...

What brand/viscosity oil in your Montero?

I ran Rotella T6 15W40 for several years in my '05 until the T6 5W40 became more commonly available in my area. It gets cold here, and 5W40 suits the climate better.

What are your top 3 tools to bring for a recovery situation?

I'll play, with others: 1. Strap 2. Clevis 3. Shovel I've done many recoveries of others from mud and snow. Never has a jack crossed my mind to use. Shovel, traction boards and a winch if you are alone.

Good Deal? - Gen 3 buying advice

Sounds like a $1k vehicle? Hard to judge, some issues always come up on a nearly 20 YO vehicle, going to need ability to fix them (no idea of your skilz) Plus new tires will be a grand. Craigslist used specials considerably less.

    Dangerous Situations

I travel for business a lot globally. Worst situation I have ever encountered was in Tokyo about 8 years ago. Never trust the bars there run by Nigerians. This event did not include a lot of alcohol. Luckily my credit card only allowed a $700 max charge & I woke up with all my body parts...

Good websites for small Gen1 parts?

Mike Warme (probably not on here) has a lot of OEM new Mighty Max parts. Many (not all of course) of these cross over to Gen 1 Monteros. Best bet is to join and contact him thru the facebook group: Mighty Max/D50/Arrow classifieds and/or Mighty Max / D50 Trucks

    Edgestar Fridge Modifications Thread

Received the hinges over the weekend, appears the screw holes are just a little off location for my Edgestar. Going to drill them out just a bit to get the lid to sit down tight again. Anyone else experience this?

Pop up styles: straight up, vs wedge, vs flip?

A well built home build wedge isn't cheap. Aluminum sheets are expensive, I don't sew, so that is expensive. And I've found that my personal time is expensive. Looking back I probably should have bought a GFC or similar. Probably not much difference in cost, and for sure less if my time is...
