    Airing down

Agreed. (assuming by 2nd gen, you mean RAM) Per the placard my GVWR is 8510 with a payload of 1448 so I believe the curb weight stock was 7062.

    Airing down

Last year I somewhat reluctantly went to OX West, mainly since it is in my hometown. Phil was there with a vendor and I hadn't been in a few years so I drug my son and dog with for the RTT-fest. (can't say I'll go back again anytime soon, but I digress). General Tire was there with their big...

    Airing down

It was Phil, with the 80 series pictured above. My PW, also pictured above, I'd kinda came to the 21psi by trial and error/seat of pants over the past two years with my tires and truck. I tried Phil's method prior to going on that Mexico trip with him at home. It confirmed ~21 gave rubber...

    2nd Gen Raptor Thoughts/Comments

Where I live and work in Scottsdale, you can throw a rock a hit a Raptor, or a G-Wagon. Interestingly enough, the two have a lot in common around here. Neither ever see dirt. :p

Mobile Dual Band installation questions (2018 Ram 2500, Yaesu FTM400)

If you haven’t mounted the mic yet, use a Nite-eze Steelie. I stuck the ball in the flat strip of the radio bezel DS. CB mic in same place on PS. I have a Hawk on a PW.

Mobile Dual Band installation questions (2018 Ram 2500, Yaesu FTM400)

Assuming you don’t have a manual transmission, you can put a hole through the rubber/insulation where the clutch master cylinder would go for the wires FWIW.

Those are not correct. No provision for the bowtie.

    1977 GMC Jimmy High Sierra

Yeah, I was looking for an OEM. Last I checked LMC didn't offer a '77 as it was a unique to that year, just like the yellow trim.

I have the Chevy twin to that. Same exterior and interior. A/C, factory tach, 350/465/205. I swapped in the later highback seats though. Originals sitting on a shelf. Bought mine from the original owner here in Phoenix. I wish I could find a perfect '77 grill for it, anyone out there have one? :D

Ford Superduty Tremor "off road" 2020 F250/F350.

I think you'd be smart to go this route over the Tremor package. End up with a better suspension too. I'd say perhaps skip the front locker, but if you're re-gearing anyway...

Looking for input - removable LiFePO4 solution with alternator/solar charging

I knew that they weren’t available when I placed the order. Local Flagstaff company that I’ve delt with for over 20 years.

Looking for input - removable LiFePO4 solution with alternator/solar charging

I've got one on order from Northern AZ Wind & Sun. They said mid-March but with hopes of a few sooner than that.

Ford Superduty Tremor "off road" 2020 F250/F350.

I haven't read of any issues, but chances of the actual display being a or the problem is slim vs. a firmware problem. Any of the new bigger displays on any OEM are going to be pricey to actually replace.

Ford Superduty Tremor "off road" 2020 F250/F350.

Watching the video (which the off-road stuff was shot at a gravel quarry west of here in Phx., that Ford setup for upcoming presser's) I was expecting a bit more flex than what that Tremor did. They intentionally made that ditch though to highlight the fact the computer could keep it moving...

    Which Overland Vehicle and Why?

100 or preferably 200 series Land Cruiser is what I personally would look for as a generic answer. Oh, on edit, you said why. Comfortable on pavement and off. Decently capable right out of the box. Good aftermarket support. Worldwide support. Over engineered. Can haul both people and/or gear...

Ford Superduty Tremor "off road" 2020 F250/F350.

Correction would be solid LEAF sprung solid rear axle truck. I haven't looked at all of them, so not sure that could be taken as a global statement. 4th+ gen 2500 RAMs are coil, so different setup entirely. However, the bigger the block, the greater the amount of axle wrap that will occur under...
