I have a very similar looking binder made by Mead, 5 star is the model I think. Can’t remember what I paid cause it was about 25 years ago.
It’s in pristine condition. I’d be willing to part with it for $85 if you want a second binder. You pay shipping. It doesn’t say tactical, but it is...
I can't help you with the how to fix it. I can only sometimes hammer a nail in straight. I have this buddy who can make or fix anything though. Great guy to know. He bought a new 5th wheel this past season. He has had so many problems with the thing including what you are describing. He...
I looked at quite a few reviews reference that shop and specifically Rory after reading about your situation. I’ll be adding his phone number to my contacts list prior to getting back out that way.
I'm in Michigan and have a 2008. I haven't had any issues, but I did take the carb off once to give it a scrub down just for the heck of it. Took me about 10 minutes.
You should probably take the day off work and get your pictures sorted and the write up completed. Some of us are anxious to see the rest of the story.
Yes it closes on occasion for high winds. It is also known to close when the weather warms up too quick and big chunks and sheets of ice start falling off the towers and cables.
I only have about 7 yrs of experience owning an RV toilet. In that time I’ve always used the same stuff as we use at our house. 2 ply whatever.
There haven’t been any issues. I do have the luxury of a dump station at my house. So yea I’m the guy that drags a hose inside and tops off the...
How terrible all the way around. What a sad story. I’m not a hunter and I certainly don’t want to start a gun vs bear spray debate, but why did the guide leave his firearm on/at his pack. Maybe it didn’t matter cause the bear was that quick for the initial attack.
Do you just get...
So I'm guessing you'd answer "yes" to that thread titled Maxtrax, are they worth it? I know I'll be looking for a secondary self recovery system for my Jeep after reading about your situation.
Passenger side because that's where the main access door is on our van after we set up camp. I'll admit to staying in campgrounds. In my experience both the back in sites and pull through sites are all set up for your utility hook ups to be on the driver side and your designated sprawling out...
I have a 3-way fridge in my van. The 12 volt option will suck my house battery dry in a very short couple of hours if the engine isn't running. I will sometimes use that option if I'm packing in a bunch of windshield time trying to get to a destination. It is not as efficient as propane though.
Step 1: drain water from holding tank and hot water heater.
Step 2: run a tube from a bottle of RV antifreeze to your water pump
Step 3: turn on water pump and watch antifreeze level drop from bottle
Step 4: turn on faucet and let it run into a bucket until you see the antifreeze coming...
I have a North Shore. I can load or unload 4 bikes in about 60 seconds. I'm able to tilt mine down and open the cargo doors of my van. I've had all sorts of configurations on it to include 2 adult bikes (1 a fat tire), kid tricycle and bike trailer for the kids. My only complaint is that I...
