    Mercedes Sprinter 2011 4wd Camper 31,000 miles $75,000

I appreciate your honesty in the post, but my wife pointed out the tight sleeping arrangement sentence. She doesn't want to budge on that. I also have the two extra captain chairs in my current vehicle, but they fold out into the front seats to make two extra beds if you can call them beds...

"Detailing" prior to sale: Have you done it? Worth the $$?

I agree with that statement. You can find reputable shops in my area for at or about $100. It is certainly worth it in my opinion.

    Mercedes Sprinter 2011 4wd Camper 31,000 miles $75,000

To the Original Poster: I think you get where I was coming from with my comment. A first time poster selling a vehicle with limited information and one picture. I'm sorry you have to sell, but truth be told I'm in the market for another van hence the reason I clicked on your link. I have a...

3000 miles, 2.5 weeks - Family Road Trip

Dang man, what a blast of a good time. I like your style. I can especially relate to this though. "On the way home from the trip my wife started looking up offroad teardrop trailers!" Fingers crossed eh.

Danner Mountain Light II - An on-going review

I'm debating between these boots and a pair of Zamberlan, which I believe are having a chunking issue with a batch of their soles. I don't think you mentioned anything about traction so far. My concern is slipping on wet rocks. My current boots are great, but on their last leg and technically...

Best light weight bug proof clothing?

I know you asked about clothing, but I feel compelled to tell you what has worked for me. I spray my complete outfit with Permethrin which includes boots, socks, pants, long sleeve shirt and hat. Bandana sprayed with Deet around neck and a squirt or two on exposed hands. Works like a charm...

    OT: subscribing to a thread

Possibly a way to show general enthusiasm toward what will follow in the thread. Maybe it lets the original poster know that people are interested in the subject matter. Keep the OP giving details of what they are working on or doing. I know I wouldn't continue to detail a build thread, trip...

Bike Advice? Looking for motorcycle or dirt bike to carry on Fuso

I have the Cycleracks front and rear racks for my TW200. I highly recommend looking into at least the rear if you haven't already crossed paths with that company. Easy install and can accommodate quite a bit of firewood, groceries or whatever else you find yourself lugging to or from camp.

Does this sound like a reasonable deal on a '99 suburban?

No, it does not sound like a reasonable deal. Cut the price in half and then maybe worth another look.

    Plastic and plastic welding

I'm just now learning about plastic out of necessity because I ran over a piece of metal that punctured my grey water holding tank that is mounted under my vehicle. I bought some plasti-mend hoping my holding tank is ABS plastic. Apparently, ABS is easily repairable. I've found you can...

Help! My van clunks into 2nd gear

I have a 2011 Express and received a letter from Chevrolet in February 2015. I'm not sure if the information is helpful or related to your issue, but here is some of what it said. "Some 2011 model year vehicles may have been built with a condition in which high duty cycle use while pulling...

Chevrolet/GMC Van suspension lift/rear locker questions

I am in a similar situation and just want/need a few more inches of ground clearance. I have water holding tanks and a generator exhaust pipe that make me scared to hit the gas station driveway at the wrong angle. I have been looking into this for quite some time. It always takes me a while...

    Watches - ExPo Style

I own two watches. One I wear with a suit and tie that tells time and the other being the Pathfinder. I've had it for many years and am still amazed with the solar aspect of it. I've never had to replace a battery. I keep telling myself one of these days I'm going to read the manual so I can...
