    Redneck92's 02 TRD Build - DD/Trail rig

I plan on having a small rack to hold my 130# RTT. When closed, the RTT will only be slightly higher than the roof line. I'll be trading some of my plow monies with Toytec for a lift soon. Once that's in, I was pondering removing the front swaybar. Really diggn' the Jeep front towpoints too.

    Redneck92's 02 TRD Build - DD/Trail rig

Very nice! I have a few questions tho.. What did you use to clean your headlights? How do you like your Billies? What did you use for the rack? 1" square tube? How is holding up? Have you driven the Taco on the road w/out the front swaybar? If so, how does it handle? That's all I got for now...

Rear Tow Points on a Tacoma

^^ THIS... With a proper snatch strap that has elasticity features will be just fine on your factory hitch.

    Saying Hello and some questions

Howdy from anothah Mainah! Don't wait on the timing belt R&R! Get the Aisin kit from RockAuto (belt, waterpump, both pulleys, hyd. tensioner, gaskets, etc.) Also get a new thermo stat. You could swap out your drivers side vehicle tie-down w/a 10K hook. Bolt holes line right up, but go to your...

looking at an '01 Sr5 4Runner, need input

I have the same t-case on my 01 Taco. It takes a little getting used to compared to my 00 XJ (2H-4H-N-4L). I've noticed it takes a bit for the front axle to shift sometimes, and that may be an issue with the vacuum line going from the case to the dif actuator. Otherwise no issues for me.

Box Rocket '03 DC Tacoma Build

I'm right on the verge of purchasing the 4 Leaf Dakar spring pack from Toytec. Maybe I should just re-bush them now? (01 DC, Non-TRD).. May get adjustable shackles while I'm at it for load variations., empty bed vs loaded for camping possibly with my Tepui RTT on the back. Sorry for the...

    Jah310 Trailer Build. Here goes...!

Speaking from a lot of trailering experience, I always set the trailer brakes to my comfort level, which is when I can just feel the trailer brakes working. And I always seem to adjust/tweak them every time I go out. You don't want to rely too much on the braking from the trailer itself, but...
