    Vagabond Outdoors Drifter

    A. Where are you finding information about the cases? It’s also interesting as the deposits were non-refundable, no? B. Others mentioned back on the Tacomaworld forums that they waited so long that the CC companies couldn’t do anything about a purchase 2 years prior to the dispute? Idk how much...

    Comparison of these campers

Snap! Outfitters (east coast) offers absolutely amazing customer service and product…the caveat is that they are in PA. There is no doubt in my mind that if they were in the west that they would the camper. I had one of their first 25 and the build quality was every bit as good as my VO. I’m...

    Comparison of these campers

As someone who picked up their VO in November I would 100% recommend Topo. The build quality on VO is probably better, but the customer service, or lack thereof prevents me from recommending them….I wouldn’t want anyone else to experience what I did, even after “skipping line“ and buying someone...

    Vagabond Outdoors Drifter

Iggy hasn’t been involved for some time now…unsure of the reason behind it. I’ve heard he was really only involved in the beginning stages and didn’t have any real involvement with the business side of things. All heresy I’m sure. Though someone threatening litigation did say that he found an...

    Vagabond Outdoors Drifter

@SoCalTacoTruck Phil told me in November he was selling his Tacoma and Vagabond to do other projects either for himself or the company. He didn’t mention anything about putting that money back into the company. He just said he was thinking about putting the money into either a personal or...

    Vagabond Outdoors Drifter

Still mind blowing that even lawsuits don’t light a fire under VO to get their stuff together and do what every other camper company is managing to do…provide custom campers in less than a year. Snap! and Topo both provide nearly every option that VO offers by now and both lead times are under a...

Do you have any update? You seem to be one of the more in-the-loop users on here.

    Vagabond Outdoors Drifter

In my experience with VO, Phil knows everything that is going on. People have been telling him for a while now. He’s not oblivious to the blatant lies about lead times or absolutely unacceptable communication issues. His employees were even outwardly frustrated with them not addressing the...

We know. Unfortunately, this is not new. The lack of communication and miscommunication have been occurring for a few years now.

    Vagabond Outdoors Drifter

How’s he gonna run out of money if all he’s doing is taking people’s money and not spending it buying parts? It’s pretty much 3 employees that seem to only show up for install so at this point his only real overhead is seemingly rent. I agree the business model is the epitome of how not to run...

    Vagabond Outdoors Drifter

Poor guy...who wants to tell 'em? 30 months is about average these days. Maybe even on the quicker side of things at this rate. The website has been blatantly lying about 12 months for literal years now. I'm not sure disappointment is the right word for the product, as it is probably the best...

Could be wrong, but fairly certain we are in the late 190’s/early 200’s.

When Phil told me they were 2-3 weeks out they were accurate…..now I did have to call, email, and pester them about 80 times the week prior to nail down an exact day….and didn’t know what time until the night before…..BUT it was done 3 weeks after I got a similar email lol

    Comparison of these campers

Snap Treehouse and AT Summit both have better bed solutions. They both utilize gas struts to raise the bed up parallel to the roof...both are also significantly better value in my opinion unless weight is your only determining factor

    FS: Vagabond Drifter

Selling my Vagabond drifter (#193). It is currently on my 3rd gen Tacoma, but I am planning on selling my truck as soon as I can unload the Vagabond. It can also fit a 2nd with a different rear hatch (you would need to do your own research to confirm this). Options/Upgrades include: Slider cab...

Par for the course. Keep bugging him, otherwise there’s a good chance you’re install date will be later than it could have been.
