Wow! That is a Fiat Ritmo (here in Italy, maybe in the US were sold under another name), it was my dad's first car. Never thought it was sold in US too.

This was taken in Italy, in the Dolomites area.

It was a vehicle made by the spanish manufacturer "Santana Motors" powered by the 3000cc Td engine of the Iveco Daily. Santana begins its activity producing old Defender under license, that is a refined version of them. The manufacturer went bankrupt a few years ago.

How much headroom do you have with this platform? Are you able to stay seated on it without touching the roof? btw i like your build, i'm planning to do a very similiar thing.
