Adding two handles to the door helps and a strap to pull the door in. Depending on the door struts the door can be easier to close. My door is harder to close and my friends are super easy to close.

Sounds like the max traxs were spit out by spinning tires . Spinning the tires on the max traxs is not how to get traction. Could be a high center situation. A simple solution is to air down the tires to get better traction on the mats.

If your tow vehicle has the same bolt pattern and fit the trailer then you can just go with the vehicle spare if you are comfortable with one spare tire. The $875.00 cost included the spare tire and wheel. I don't know ,but the weight of the spare might be needed to keep the trailer stable...

The door of the Mission Overland trailer is difficult to close. Adding kayak handles and using a strap makes closing the door possible.

Just put the controller on the bumper so it does not overheat. If the controller is under the hood it will overheat. That is what I did with my Land Cruiser and now the controller is good to go.

Just for perspective, I've had the trailer for a year and a half and now have over 20K miles on it . Well over 5K off road miles.
