Well, it is limited to our current stock, however we are in talks with Truma.
The issue is they really do have a problem with selling to anyone but OEM's. In their opinion OEM's are trained professionals and will install the product properly.
In our opinion OEM's hire a basic workforce, and...
The compressors are not cheap by any means, a Australian reseller is selling the compressors under the Renvu name for the equivalent of $1400usd. How many are sold, I am not sure. But I may have a line on them around the $700 mark.
Full load, full wattage is 1152W @ 12V (OR 96A). Most Lithium setup at 80% SOC are above 13V, so at 13V 88.6A Draw.
No hard start either, because it is brushless it tapers its start with a lower initial starting amperage.
These units are specifically 3 speed only. (Ground Wire - Speed 1 1500RPM Speed 2 2200 RPM Speed 3 4000 RPM)
They are identical to the units Roadtrek has been putting into their Ecotrek vans with Rear Battery Powered A/C. The results have been very good with Roadtrek and it appears the new owner...
What sort of interest would there be for a source of reliable 7500~ BTU 12VDC Compressors?
These would be three speed brushless units that use standard automotive refrigerant and have their controller built in?
COP around 2.0
Can be used with standard off the shelf evaporators and condensers...
Now available to the North American market to the aftermarket!
Previously these units were only available to OEM's but we have a access to complete Truma Combi Kits (at a significantly lower price than importing from the EU, and these units are actually approved for us in US and Canadian RV's...
I have always said about most modern manufactured RV's. There are those that presently have a leak, have had a leak in the past or will in the future. Water will find a way. Everyone I have ever come across definitely damaged the walls or floors, there just seems to be no avoiding it, so I would...
OK, that's thinking about it backwards. Purpose of this application in racing is to eliminate the weight of heavy clay/mud and give you a potential weight advantage against the competition.
Can you measure the front fairlead mount bolt hole to bolt hole? I am trying to figure out if this is the standard M12000 of the Hummer H1 version.
You can PM me with that info or post here.
Really good. Considering I have load rating C tires on a truck that should see E's they are performing and wearing exceptionally well. No chunking out of mine and I run them hard but never under 18psi
I do understand. The conservation laws on some of these logging trails are very lean as the logging trucks didn't exactly be careful when using them. Ontario has much stronger rules than Quebec.
John's truck has a 2" Body Lift. The additional 2" comes from a spring spacer. I have looked into a 6BT conversion, and will do one in the future. I am just waiting for a standalone for the Allison 6 Speed to become a little more "stable"
While the transmission is a GM 4L80e, the engine is not a GM. Engine is made my GEP (General Engine Products) and is known as the Optimizer 6500. GM design, GEP revisions made it significantly more reliable.
Just wanted to share some pictures and a video of my truck. It's been a build in progress truck, and a very good off-roader. While some of the trails in Ontario may not be wide enough for a H1, the scratches on every panel of my truck proves me going through them :sombrero:
The truck is a 2003...
I am very interested in joining you or anyone else interested in exploring these trails or others. I have plenty of experience, am well prepared and tread lightly. Let me know if you want a additional truck with you.
