Hadley and Tardis STOLEN, PLEASE HELP LOOK

When you look at the cost to replace our trucks and campers the value is staggering. Many of us have trucks and campers valued at $60K+. I researched high and low and found a company that installs a full proof kill switch. They have never had a vehicle stolen. Ravelco has installers coast to...

    Air conditioner alternatives

This is the small unit I use in my pop-up. The duct tube goes out through the turnbuckle door and i use a piece of roofing single-ply to seal around it and cover the rest of the opening. http://www.compactappliance.com/Koldfront-7000-BTU-Slim-Design-Portable-Air-Conditioner-White/PAC701W.html...

Hallmark Everest on 2007 Ram 3500

Congrats on the new camper. We looked at Hallmark before deciding on a Four Wheel Camper. Good luck on your travels. A blog would be a great way for people to keep up with your travels. I would suggest joining Wander the West as there is a lot of good ideas and plenty of help for pop-up...

    Toilet option in pop-up camper?

We have the Grandby - front dinette and opted for the extra storage. We had FWC leave the doors off the lower cabinet, cut 14" off the center of the cabinet face-plate at the floor and slide the Curve Porta-Potti into that space and have a curtain rod and curtain to cover the space.

    Four Wheel Camper Considerations

You will want an 8' bed for a Grandby. We have an F-250, 8' bed, 2014 Grandby with a front dinette. When you have the upper bed extension pulled out, it covers about half the seating of the front dinette with the overhang. The Hawk front dinette is approximately 6" narrower than the Grandby...

Need advice from truck camper gurus.....

I've never owned diesel so I can't comment. We have a 2013 F-250 long bed with 2014 FWC Grandby. It has been a great combo. The FWC Hawk would be a good choice and if you needed more room the long bed Grandby. You might want to consider the 3/4 ton truck for either choice. ATC (All Terain)...

    FWC Shower?

We have a 2014 FWC Grandby. The day we placed our order we opted for the front dinette without the inside shower or toilet. That saved a considerable amount of money. We have the outside shower and I have only used it once. We bought a small shower tent and have never used it. Bought a...

What are the downsides to a FWC?

Pop-Ups aren't a problem in bear country. The soft side is 8' above the ground.

My Taco Phoenix Pop Up Camper

Look into Four Wheel Camper (they have a dealer in Texas). On Wander the West there is a post for used FWC, but they go very fast because of their quality and reputation. We bought a new FWC Grandby in 2014 and it is everything we were expecting. ATC is another high quality camper. Lognhorn

    My Journey

What a great trip. Glad you got back safely. I was camping in Big Bend National Park and had no communication. A day after we left I saw the story on the earthquake and my first thought was about you. I does take the wind out of ones sails and the thoughts of all the lives lost. Thanks for...
