Hi Bryan
I have one of their winches and like it. When I contacted them, they were not quite ready for US dealers per my request, but their support is fantastic and they can support you via AU. shipping this winch here was a bit of a bear with US customs (1000 questions) but all in all it was...
Agreed,
Seems alot of these companies purchase one or two tents then copy them and sell them for much cheaper. Problem 99% of the times they are also cheaply made.
You can see these all over Alibaba.
Is this because the diesel motor changed the location of the trans and transfercase?
I am looking to do a swap soon and wanted it use the Mark's Adapter as well. Ideally not to change the driveshafts, transmission location etc. I have a stock 2f with H55 in an 86 Fj60. So everyting is in the...
This is an Adventure model. No longer sold. while not as aerodynamic as the others, they are almost bomb proof and built to last.
I use to have a Large version of this model, the rail system up front was great for storing items like recovery boards, boxes etc.
Great tent and if this was in the...
I was very interested in this and the seller and I have been communicating well. Sadly my wife has decided that a hard shell RTT is in the plans, plus she is firm on we have to get one brand new. Otherwise she will not go with my two boys and I which is a loss. At least I talked her down from a...
Normal pop up tent trailers have existed in North America for many years. All we are looking at here is a smaller off road version. Bears are bears and if they want in they will get in.
Tent camping in a campground (depending where it is) is not any better. Back country camping in a RTT or off...
As this is an older thread and I am sure the PO figured it out. I will throw it in here.

As for a full size vs the LX470/ series 100. anything can be made capable to go off road. My F150 is...
This is a great deal. Had I not bought an Extreme last fall I would be all over this as I wanted a Med size (my extreme is a small)
Good luck with the sale. Great price for one of the best tents.
I think you meant to say since the 70's Based on the information I have found about them.
Yes some Warn, Ramsey and Superwinches are made overseas. However some are not (well no Superwinches any more, I think the X9 was the last one still made mainly in the US, My motor is from eastern Europe)...
I have a X9 on the front of my Land Cruiser I bought from them 1.5 years ago.....When it breaks I guess it is Warn or Ramsey time. I have used Superwinches for years this is a shame.
Agreed, and with the weight and 33" tires not only was the fuel economy destroyed, but you can forget cruse control except maybe on the flats. Going through the Texas Panhandle and I had a headwind, I felt it very well. Big rigs were passing me constantly.
Just as a little info.
I ran an older Maggiolina Adventure XL on my FJCruiser. This was one of the largest tents that Autohome made.
I had the same as you 3" lift and 33"s, while I had a Baja rack that should not matter much. First, it was stable at all speeds and off road. Second my fuel...
I use a yellow Everyready LED 6V lamp, the one that takes the big square battery. It is used to walk around camp, bathroom etc. I have a head mounted lamp I use rarly and only when fixing things on the trail.
For the table I did use for years a since mantel Coleman white gas lantern, but...
