Interest in a Hannibal awning group buy

Spoke with Hannibal today. Shipping quote is probably off till monday at earliest. He thinks for an order without tents that air freight will be very reasonable vs sea/container. I will have both and we can decide if the cost is worth it. Obviously air is a week plus custom issues vs 4-6...

Interest in a Hannibal awning group buy

I will have a shipping quote tomorrow AM. I will make a rough estimate on other cost based on some of the info Rou gave us. When I contact a broker and get further I can adjust. Then our interested parties can confirm or bow out.

Koly, All brackets need to be fabbed up. Unless you happen to have a Hannibal rack. I think they fit that only. Im planning to fashion some type of L bracket that will connect to the underside of my rack, either Baja or FrontRunner. Long part of L under rack short part vertical on side...

Attempted to call Hannibal this AM no luck. Will try again next week. Just more FYI, this is not going to be quick process. I imagine once we finalize costs it will take several weeks to get the goods into the states. Just want everyone to know this isnt like a group buy with a local based...

    O'erlanderwagen build

I found a well maintained 80K miles 02 in Silver with Gray. Inspected by Darren Collie, couple small issues, looks perfect tons of PM done by PO. Owned by a couple different people in the Bellvue WA area. Nothing but a soccer mom used vehicle. Im just started on my G journey but very happy...

I actually built the swing arm and roller and a complete 2.4 copy for my land cruiser a couple years ago. The swingarms and associated pieces are easy. I built mine out of steel as a prototype, since I had enough around it didnt cost anything. Then I went to several upholstery, tent maker and...

Interest in a Hannibal awning group buy

Hey all. I have contacted Hannibal of SA for an awning purchase. Im wondering if anyone else is interested in getting one. The prices I received, when queried about 1 awning were, 2.4M -$550 & 1.9M- $460. I have not gotten any shipping cost yet. I figure if we brought over 10 or so it would...

    O'erlanderwagen build

I've owned LCs and LRs picking up my G next week. I got 12-15 mpg on all of those as well. Loaded up I think they're all similar. 80,100, D2 & RRC. Not saying it doesn't hurt, just saying they're all close.

What kind of G-Wagen will $15-20k buy?

Listen to Zimm. It has been beat to death on the G forums. The best bang for the buck is the MBUSA 2002 or later. Most fixes are already there, they are new enough that the person who spent 100K for it originally has probably done the the things that were needed initially. Like Zimm said...

Parts Availability: RRC vs DI vs DII?

Correct me if Im wrong but the RRC and D1 share a bunch of part with the D110... Nobody is asking if those will still be supported. I dont think you will have a problem for the next 10-20 years.

A different kind of question about reliability

If you really want to do the work yourself and are budgeting it just find a D2 for 3-5K. They are all over the N CA CL. Youre not that far. And Im sure there are plenty in OR and WA as well. Find one that has a leaky HG and redo everything. As far as the cooling system goes all of those...
