Wife needs indoor accommodations....what is worth buying?

@Dendy Jarrett had a fancy Conqueror at one time before he went Airstream. It was super cool but did take quite a while to set up. It was him, Holly, and the two youngins in that. I had a Conqueror Compact back then. Made me swear-off canvas on any future trailers....

    Thoughts on No Boundaries

It's a Forest River --- I'd say light duty, standard rv construction. Highway and manicured forest service road duty. 8-10 years and not much resale value unless you pamper it.

    I’m still not happy

Amazon's been getting here in one or two days. And my FedEx/UPS has been right on time too. UPS did misplace 19 packages for the business next to ours though.

    Why no Ram 1500 Builds!

They had one at the dealership when I bought my 1500 at the end of May --- right color, wrong package for me. They were discounting it even more than the truck I bought but it was just too pimped-out for my liking. Moon roof, 20" wheels, etc. They were giving about $15,000 off retail and it...

    The "Expedition hat" thread

I have a very old Stetson that's similar but with more "pinch" in front. A bit warm for summer wear (thank you Tilley) but great for fall and much of winter around here.

    TetonX Hybrid

That's a problem at times ---- the shade makes a site appealing but also greatly reduces your charging capability. I got lucky with how much sun time I got all week. My batteries never got below 12.2 volts. But that elk had me a little nervous when he started licking my solar panels...

What was that battery issue? I know I kidded you about it and, due to Jackie's persistent Maker's Mark onslaught, forgot to ask you what happened.

    Why no Ram 1500 Builds!

It took me a minute to learn how the eco mode liked to be driven. Once you figure out how to tickle the skinny pedal, it doesn't hunt for gears and cylinders. And boy-howdy, the HEMI growl when you romp on it is very satisfying. All that and I'm averaging about 19.5 mpg. The more I drive it...

I'm rockin' a 1500 too. Classic. Springs all around and towing a teardrop. Just the right amount of truck. For now.

Wife needs indoor accommodations....what is worth buying?

Trailmanor.com Check these out. You'd need to tweak it a bit for fs roads but they're pretty neat. Got a tour in one recently and I fit in it fine. Impressive trailer.

Wife needs indoor accommodations....what is worth buying?

Well, keep talking then. Momma don't want a trailer yet (although I tried); she still loves teardropping. But we're both getting older and eventually we'll be semi-fulltiming. And I don't want a condo sized ordeal. Rather, just enough. And a 4-season please.
