+1 on the wheels. Wish they had em in grey or gunmetal. Do all the black bolts thread out so it could be plasti-dipped or powder coated?

Those wheels are sic!! What's the back spacing and offset? I know your front is leafsprung, I figure you don't expect any fitment issues with the 35's. Were you ever considering 37's?

Agreed, not wanting to hijack the thread, but certainly appreciate your comments and insights. I'll take some measurements of my current setup and PM you or anyone who asks for details.
Thanks Russell!
Great build Chris and excellent writeup and articles in OJ!! Thanks for all the effort to put this out.
I'm finally starting a real build-out using my 02 F-350 as my foundation.
I've had it since new and 178K of work/travel/adventure miles. The wife is tired of ground camping in the Oz Tent...

I got tired of waiting for BROG to commit to making a SP version of their stove bag...lot's of lip service and very little action. If you're [YDR] not making any bags I'll try my luck with Backcountry too.
Great thread, great setup. I'm in the process of conceptualizing my FWC build. It will be on a 2002 F-350 Crew Cab Shortbed base as that's what I have already and paid off. The flatbed is kinda my preference. Have you had any issues with an increased center of gravity? I'm wondering whether it's...
Nice setup. I think my Donahoe was the 6" with the blocks in back. Hindsight I probably would have done something different, but that was 10 years ago!
If I may ask, what airbags are you running?
Are you using Daystar cradles to protect the bags?
Did you have the bags when you had the Granby...
Thanks for the writeup. I have a 2002 F-350 which I've put an adventurous 178,000 miles on so far and just now will be adding a FWC buildout to it. I did the 6.0 trans cooler upgrade after cooking the first transmission towing equipment trailers. That was an excellent addition along with an...
Same report.....my long table extension shows as shipped today too. Wow, REI comes through? Small step in the right direction.

I ordered the long table extension. I'd prefer the length to match my 4 unit IGT vs the shorter regular length extension I have now. But then I'll have both so win win if it ever shows up.

That would be cool if you did. I have some design ideas if you do make a bag.
I've been looking for hard side or case options but haven't found anything correctly sized for this stove.
