hanging off the back meaning how FWC does the factory AC's?
We did a big trip in a front dinette hawk this summer to the south and was trying to jimmy rig an AC out the window. Made a way to do it but had to keep the window up and open (obviously) it then rained that night, no more like...

I wouldn't worry too much about it. Ive seen tons of heavy load riding on a tailgate and plenty of campers. FWC will instal longbed campers on shorter beds as long as youre aware of loading and center of gravity. Ive run my 8ft FWC on my 6.5 plenty of times. Have fun and enjoy the extra space!

With all that said I am going to Mexico tomorrow with my 3 and 5 yr old daughters. Yes Mexico has some chaos but so do all the major cities in the US. I am more afraid in some of those spots than I have...
