I don't care what tire people run, I wanted to point out that the statement "Tires are DOT" was incorrect.

No way that is DOT when sidewall has molded "Not For Highway Use" and "For Racing Purposes Only!" Will you get a ticket...maybe, but have an accident and see what happens. There is a reason BFG molded those words into the tire.

The side shoot has "Not For Highway Use" dead center on sidewall. At least this model is not DOT! Interesting tire though.

On a serious note... Check out "Vortex Generators" for the rear sides of your project. One of my friends runs Scaled Composites. He and a few of their "Smart" people run them on all their boxy vehicles. They claim it helps fuel mileage wise, and seem to work as the vehicles rear areas stay...

I use soft non slide shelf lining between the pots and plates, and on the shelf in our motorhome and and storage boxes. It works, it's cheap and easy to use, and weighs nothing. It also protects the finish.
