Thanks in advance

Hi guys
A friend who is a mechanic made a comment the other day which wondered if anyone had looked into, could a Mitsubishi Rosa 6 speed gearbox be put into a FG649 to replace the 5 speed? When buying filters I have noticed they do share the same engine.
Appreciate your feedback
Cheers

Hi Guys
Came across this Isuzu SciTech 800 expedition vehicle in Broome today. It initially caught my eye as the truck type read PIZZA, not Isuzu. It is fitted with super single tyres and Kumho KMA12s 385/65R/22.5, a crane, 1.5 tonne Pizza oven and J is currently building a pop up camper on the...
Hi guys
Came across these on the web and found them interesting reading. They also might help if you are building your own motorhome. These are Australian requirements and are extensive and there are differences between sub-4495kg vehicles and larger ones.

Hi all
I was greasing the front Spring on the canter and notice a thin piece of rubber as shown in photos. A friend suggested it could be the result of too putting to much grease in joint. As I am only 1/4 of the way around Australia, is this something you would fix or leave until home in...

Hi All
Have just finished watching the Finke Desert Race for 2016 and we saw this amazing 8x8 with a really cool graphic and I thought I would share. Sadly its not a Mitsubishi, but it is cool. Enjoy!

Hi guys
I am currently building a truck / car port for the Amesz and it has a concrete slab. Any ideas on what if anything can be done to protect it from spillages and grease from when I service to truck?
Thanks in advance
Steve
Hi Guys
This tread started in another post, but I though you might like to see the new 3 inch exhaust brake I put in the Canter yesterday. Still too early to quantify improvement but it sounds cool. Old system was 2 1/4 inch and quite rusted. Used old actuator from old brake.

Hi Guys
I have just completed 30,000kms on the Super single types as supplied by ATW. Tyres have been rotated every 10,000kms so each tyre has just completed 20,000kms each. The tyres have done most of their work on tar and relatively little hard off road use. I have been surprised to realise...
Hi all
Travelling around as we do, we are seeing an increasing number of Iveco Vehicles as the base for offroad campers? Eg Iveco Earthcruiser. The Iveco looks impressive and certainly confortable, but is it a serious replacement for our beloved Canters and Isuzus?
Would love to hear people's...

We are currently traveling west from sydney, through Renmark. and onto Perth.
Hope you can assist

Hi all
Have just fitted the new (well at least in Australia new) tradie rack by Rhino Rack (no affil)
Fitting system is a little messy but solid. I do like how the legs use the existing bolt holes in the roof. I not 100% happy with their attachment to cross bar. Question should I be too worried...
Have to share this one, after spending hours chasing down a water leak in the front of my FG, incl removing replacing the washer bottle, looking under seats etc, I just realised the air conditioner hose was not connected.
DOH!
