    Teardrop Recommendations

I agree with most of what you said - our TD has a sink and we just used it once ... Too small, the plumbing leaked and after a couple of days you have to replace the water anyhow. We also decided against the stove, just for the fact that you don't want to have grease stains on the inside of...

    Teardrop Recommendations

we have the 5 wide Silver Shadow since last year and pulled through 18 states in three weeks with a 2011 Wrangler (the 3.8 machine) and there was no reason to complain, quite the opposite ... even though it had to work harder at some mountains in the Rockies ;-)...

Hey, that's good to hear. I took the "scenic route" through N.H. And avoided the interstate (I had another 8.5 hrs on I-90 on Monday, though). My car wash has to wait until Saturday, and it will include a decent internal cleaning as we'll ...

    Explores Offroad Teardrop

What is the size of the cargo basket and where is it from? The cross bars on our teardrop are 60" apart and finding large baskets for a reasonable price is hard. Yours looks very good.

New Nexus 7 inch tablet (July 2013)

@Marquez: I have a 2012 Nexus and use the Seidio case. What I like is that it has the removable cover which allows me to dump the tablet into my backpack without worrying about the screen. It also serves as a stand. In fact I liked it so much that I also bought the version for my phone (a...

    OME 2" vs AEV 2.5"

Subscribed. I have the same question, except that I already did the grade to 285/75/16. They rub a little on full turn when driving backwards (on the plastic dam, so no major worries about that).

Guide Me - JKUR for Expo Use

I agree with what some of the previous folks said - and having had a YJ for 200k/8 years back in the '90s, and a 2011 JKU for 44k now might give me some credibility - a 3.8l engine is quite good for the JKU. I have a manual and we towed a teardrop trailer and a family of four on a 3 week, 6200...

    Longest trip in a JKU?

We did a three week road trip from VA to UT/NV/AZ last year with this setup. It were 6220 miles total with a family of four (two kids 10 and 12 at that time). The Jeep and trailer worked like a well oiled machine :-)
